Met Nicko once at a music show in Birmingham, he was signing photos & I took my then 7 year old daughter up to meet him. She looked at him & said "Are you really Nicko McBrain".....he smiled, bent down & said very quietly to her "Yes, I am......but don't tell anyone". From that day on I had massive respect for that guy............a true gent & true legend xx

Nicko is the man and all his success hasn't went to his head. He is one of the greatest drummers out there. God bless you Nicko a true metal god.

I have always said that Nikko is the most underrated drummers of all time. He’s easily up there with the likes of Bonham, Peart, etc.

Adoro o jeito "orgânico" de tocar bateria do Nicko. A maioria dos bateras de hoje em dia só pensam em velocidade, viradas brutais, pedal duplo absurdo, etc. O Nicko tem uma pegada muito foda com feelings fantásticos na condução e nas viradas. E pqp o cara já tem quase 70 anos e ainda tá voando porra !

That wast effing tremendous. I don't care what anybody says. I'm 47, played in many bands back in the day on Bass. He is a fantastic, Rock solid Percussionist that you just know you could work with and click with , Something about Harris and McBrain rhythm section that I rarely ever heard in any other Bands. Both are solid, tight, and yet instinctive, and inspiring, like they share a mental connection. The only single drummer I ever had that with, was my own Brother. Blissful!
