I purchased and now use a Rockwell 6C based on this video. It has been a month's worth of unbeatable shaves. One trick I learned is using a higher setting on the razor as the blade dulls.

I’d love to get the 6S version myself, although it’s a bit out of my budget range just now. I did hear Geofatboy say that in a side by side comparison the 6C was smoother on his face. I think I’ve definitely decided on the 6S over my other choice, the RazoRock Game Changer .84P!

Nice to see you back Nick , I've been wondering when you'd re-appear. Good review and interesting to see the blade buffing. I don't have a really heavy growth so not sure if it would be appropriate on my face , perhaps I'll give that technique a miss for now. I haven't tried that soap but it does look it provides an excellent lather. I agree with you about subsequent pass lathering , I tend to lather good on the first pass then ease off with a thinner coating on the second , I very rarely require a third when using feather blades. I look forward to seeing your post London video and comments. Best wishes to you.

Hi Nick.. Can I ask you a question? Im looking to start using a safety razor for shaving... could you tell me what your all time favorite cream/soap is and aftershave? Also, would you recommend I prep my skin with any kind of oil or lotion or something before I shave or is just wetting my face sufficient? If you think I should put something on my face before I shave what would you recommend? Finally, I have hard water where I live in case that affects anything you would recommend. Thank you for your time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nick you talk about taking a shower to clean out and hydrate your facial hair but I have noticed that you rinse your face in the same water that you are rinsing your razor so aren't you putting all the old lather and bristles back to your face?. Wouldn't it be better and cleaner to rinse your face in fresh clean water unless you have 2 basins that we can't see.

Nick , a question if I may. I know you are a huge fan of the Merkur 34c HD and have seen you singing it's praises on many of your videos. I have never used that razor but do have a Merkur 33c Classic in my collection, which I absolutely love and it delivers consistently good results. My question is around the similarity of these razors. I understand the 34c to be a 2 piece and the 33c is a 3 piece design. Are the head angles and blade exposure very similar on these razors ? I hear so many good things about the 34c but wonder if it's different enough from the 33c to make it a worthwhile purchase , or will I simply getting the same shave?

Similarly, I will shave one pass with and one pass against with an aggressive razor/blade combination on my face and two passes following the grain on my neck with a mild razor/aggressive blade combination as my neck is highly susceptible to ingrown hairs and irritation.
