I have question. 53 million divided by how many illegals is the real #. Very upsetting but also don’t forget cities spend billions upon billions for homeless and where has it gotten us. We should be more upset about that issue. This is chump change in my eyes. Still again it’s upsetting but keep in context. I lived in Senegal, and many have a very relaxed approach to life! I would go to the supermarket and sat nearby were women who sat on buckets, the buckets were used to store some of the things passersby would give them. That was their 'hustle'. There was a massive begging culture there like HUGE. I am not sure about now. It was very different from other West African nations I have visited.

It was just yesterday that they re-arrested one of the 4 - 5 men who helped beat those 2 NYC cops. Others were also arrested & they were all charged with petty theft. He had just stolen over $600 in merchandise from Macy's. I stumbled across the link to the NY Post story & video here on KZfaq. Authorities found and arrested 3 or 4 of the others involved in that beating in Arizona several days ago.

I'm a 65 year old Veteran, US Army 82nd Airborne, 1977 - 1980 and I'm living in my car after losing my home soon after the Covid drama. I called Veterans for the homeless and they told me of some local "shelters" I can sleep in. I'd rather sleep in my car then in bug infested bum rooms. I still work, I just don't make enough to afford an apartment here in Tampa as rents are insane now. This is so unfair, so many of us Veterans could rebuild our lives on 3,000 per month, but we're ignored. How is this fair? We got no pay outs, yes, we came here legally, there was so much paperwork and money we had to pay out. Also, We had to prove we had enough money to support ourselves. And had to prove we were up to date with our vaccines. Kids wouldn't get into school until we proved and showed the vaccinations they had. I work for a small hotel that only housed* 40 families and the government was paying us about 300k just in rooms per month. Plus a full staff of National guards, 3 meals a day, nurses came daily, buses for kids schools, transportation to all appointments, food stamps and more! Yep. My husband and I just retired. We now get Medicare and Social Security. Worked all our lives paid all our taxes, did everything by the books, good law abiding citizens, born and raised in US by parents who did the same. My dad even served in the military until he was old enough to retire. Now we are concerned that very soon Social Security and Medicare will be go. We are not wealthy people, but debt free. May end up going back to work until we drop dead!

As a Californian I’m pissed off, I feel bad for New Yorkers. I came to America 7 years ago I paid over 10k for asylum took me 2 years to get my work permit after 5 years finally got my green card. I worked my ass off to struggling paying rents and school working minimum wage job and paid taxes every single year even I don’t get enough money in my pocket. Now I’m seeing these migrants got here and getting work permit in a month and living 5 star hotel getting free food this is just beyond unfair ,if they can’t find a job they be robbing people stealing and police just letting them do what ever they want , this is just disgrace, it’s really sad to see this happening to America and all those hard working Americans.

Each of my siblings entered the country legally, and we all became U.S. citizens, graduated from college, and have been law-abiding, tax-paying members of our community. It's outrageous to see migrants receiving benefits when there are American citizens who genuinely need assistance.

I worked since I was 14 years old. Was born here, I am elderly and disabled and only have my hard worked for SScheck I just lost my food stamps because Covid ended...I have thousands in utility bills and wonder when they will ve shot off. These illegals don't have the worries.

Yes, Nick, they are well-meaning folks who want a better life. But that does not qualify them for seeking asylum. Being poor is not one of the qualifications for seeking asylum.

It's absolutely ridiculous that many of these migrants are being treated better than many poor US Citizens, I'm not excusing a lot of the B.S. that's going on here, but I really respect Nick for presenting people as people. Good and bad.

Same things happening in Germany, just 10x worse, trust me. Illegal imm. get gov. handouts that are nearly as high as an engineer's salary, plus a free appartment & healthcare, despite having full working rights immediately (and citizenship after now only 4 yrs due to a new law - vast majority has no job even after 5 years and still receives full gov. checks) - and ill. criminals conducting heavy crime usually get let free on probation and can't be deported as they have no papers.. Meanwhile, our gov. spends billions on supranational dubious projects like building cycling tracks in Peru (315million).. If you voice any sort of criticism here, you are immediately being labeled as extreme, r4dical, far-right..

I came to this country 9 years ago fully legally, I paid everything on the way, visas, all the document fees never asked for anything, the biggest benefit my family got was free lunches at school for my kids in our first year. I'm a US citizen now. I pay taxes. Got laidoff last year, had to wait 2 months to get unemplyment payment. And all these people are getting everything for free. Tell me this isn't messed up... I can't even imagine what people who was born here think about it, paying taxes all their lives to get this... Taxes are no joke here in America.

Tax returns are apart of how the system works. That’s not taking advantage of it. We want legal immigrants who respect America and don’t take advantage of our system in the way these people in the video are doing. He wouldn’t be apart of that

I'd be pissed at the politicians too if I lived there. They have no plan for these migrants to get them assimilated, they just want to pass the bill to the taxpayers. It's crazy
