My favorite days of the year are the ones where Jackson v Sibicky games get uploaded. Got to 1:44:00 and it's now 445am so I'll find out tomorrow how it ends ;) Thanks so much for your uploads, guys! Play more often! It's like a decent 2 way teaching game plus a review all at the same time.

hey ;D i've got a question, couldn't black just kill the upper-right group by playing 16-2 instead of 13-1? (atari :)) seems much easier than fighting a ko :D 47:46

it's not an ko for the second eye - black can just connect at 19-3 so 18-1 becomes false eye :) but thanks for response :)

Yes, this bothered me most about this game. Maybe Nick was being generous. Was an easy-to-see tactic, forcing a single-eye dead shape, even for my 6k brain.

No.1 problem move : Time 21:38, Move 7,12 the black move is obviously unprofessional move,Because it's not the right time to attack white group.Black should make territory like 17,10 or some things like that.It's too early to attack white group. No.2 problem move : Time 22:15, Move 4,9 the black move may be unnecessary , If black can life without that move , you will loss A whole move in this game, If this move in the high level of confrontation game ,It maybe A losing move. No.3 problem move : Time 23:28, Move 9,10 the black move is obviously unprofessional move,Because it's not the right time to peep the white group, And white should not to connect too, It can fight back for black to respond like 9,11. It will let the 7,12 black stone close to die make the move no sense .The white respond is not good enough too here. No.4 problem move : Time 34:01, Move 15,13 is too negative, You should move more positive and more aggressive for 14,12.Give white group more pressure. No.5 problem move : Time 37:02, You should to take the corner first, move to 17,3, You are not afraid white to move 17,3.Because the corner is too big at that moment,And it makes you strong too. Hi, I thought I'd give you some English advice. It's certainly readable, I understood most of what you said and I don't even play this game. "obviously *an* unprofessional move" instead of "obviously unprofessional move". This sounds so much better to an english speaker. "obviously not a professional move" would be perfect, we would rarely use unprofessional in that way, although it technically works. "the white group" instead of just "white group". Your use of negative/positive is a little unnatural. Weak/strong is probably better. Although this could just be me not understanding what you meant. Thanks for your commentary, was very interesting.

Couldn't finish watching this game. 40:30 white group on the top right can be killed by b16-2 w17-2 b13-1.. white can't respond at 14-1 and so he doesn't have two eyes.... or am I missing something?
