Man, this was so surreal to see Skittle's game here! I'm one of the musicians on the project, and I'm really glad to hear you're also enjoying the soundtrack. It has been (and, at the time of writing this, still is) a real challenge, writing for the GameBoy! I believe I'm speaking on behalf of the rest of the artists, programers, and beta testers, in thanking you for taking the time to look at our unfinished product, as early in development as it is right now.

That was great; it’s not always straightforward to locate the homebrews so a vid like this that also overlays your valuable opinion is fantastic. I’ve just locked in a physical release of Planet Hop 😊. Cheers!

Definitely hopped on the Planet Hop Kickstarter! The boss fights should be a great throwback to some of the SMB era. Also glad that John Roo is introducing Gelatinous. I have that Kickstarter saved as well

I’d love to see a bunch of these bundled together in official multicarts for the Evercade. There are a couple of indie carts available but it would be neat to see modern indie gameboy collections

Wink looks cool but I am not a fan of the screen shake when he shoots things. I think that needs to go. And, yeah, he absolutely needs to switch the buttons around. This is GB/GBC basics 101 that these developers really shouldn't be getting wrong.

That was a thing in GB studio I had to edit the engine to change. I’m glad you like Wink! I hope you’ve been able to check out the new versions. i fixed that and added a bunch of other stuff

aaaaammmmaaazzing! I feel with the recent backlight kits for the gameboy/pocket and color we are seeing a new surge in homebrew! If the gameboy library wasn't big enough now we will get more! I'll be set for the rest of my life just gaming on my gameboy!

people.. stop pronouncing "genre" as "Jeanne re" i dunno how to explain it.. the "n" is silent. it's a french word. try pronouncing it likewise: "jawr" .. like Jaws but ending with an "r".

I googled it, and I am saying it correctly. It’s pronounced zhon-ruh, not like jaws. Maybe in French it is?

@@RetroBreak ah okay. i speak both language perfectly but i always felt like it was mispronounced by people who speaks english. my mistake friend.😁 but yes. in fact, in french it's pronounced like Jaws with an "r".

This game is a true full lenght RPG, very different from what you can get using GB studio :) We are very excited to get closer and closer to the Kickstarter campaign!
