Hey, don't compare this performance to nsync. This was great! BSB could have sing this without musical instruments but it's not their call! It's the production call, and they just follow. But if they have a choice, they will definitely sing this in accapella. I've seen them singing national anthem in accappela and it was way better than nsync!

Anyone who says BSB can't harmonize needs to get their ears checked. BSB can definitely harmonize. They are all not tenors. At this point in their careers, Nick and Brian were tenors. AJ is a baritone. Kevin is a baritone-bass. Howie can arguably be a tenor but he's really more of a counter tenor.

lol! all those saying that bsb can't sing acapella obviously do not know anything about them and they just want to hate for the sake of it. BSB are KNOWN to sing acapella and they sing well. They still do it during their concerts today. Before bashing them because you like N'sync better or wtv, youtube some of their videos because obviously you've never heard them sing. They are the best selling boyband in the world. And regardless of all the hate they have, no one can deny the fact that they have top notch harmonies, excellent individual voices and that they are simply the best. Im not saying this because I like them, its just facts.

I much prefer this performance than their other weird rendition of the anthem. They redeemed themselves here and their harmonies are much more fluid. I love Howie's long hair!

I'm not gonna bash the artist, that's not my intention. But, my credit goes to the orchestra that backs up an artist on every superbowl that had one. It seems that no gives credit to background instruments that give the song the shape in needs to be spectacular. Glorious sounds from the orchestra. High praise to all of you.

So impressed these guys had their hands over their hearts the entire time. They are proud Americans...don't see this with other performances. I love the camera shot the players most of the time. This is their game.

I'm surprised they sang this live (apparently Kevin's is the only mic that didn't go out). Since the Super Bowl is one of the most-watched events worldwide, everyone either opts or is told to prerecord it just in case stuff like mics going out happens. Their mics went out....you cannot compare this performance to NSYNC's when there was a massive technical error going on. Watch their national anthem performance in 1993/94. Way better.
