A great friend of mine said this to me a year after my mother passed. It changed my life. It took a bit of time to get here but My gratitude for my mother now outweighs my grief.

In my mind, I see your mom, talking to you in the kitchen. Moving around, when you said, I’ll get it tomorrow. I see that smile and little two step. Think you’ll be happy, yep!!

Think you'll be happy has become a mantra to Nicole. I can only imagine how difficult this interview was for Jennifer to get through. Nicole said her mother edited the book in the afterlife. So powerful. All of the years they lived outnumber the minutes the tragedy may have unfolded
