"Nobody called 'Friends' a white sitcom, you know what I mean?" Nicole Byer dishes on the latest season of her sitcom "Grand Crew," and shares why she doesn't want to label the show a "Black sitcom." Nicole also shares how being a chatty kid with undiagnosed ADHD led her to audition for her first school play, and she reminisces about her shot put days on her high school track and field team. Nicole also dishes on her obsession with pole dancing, and normalizing being bad at stuff you like.

I LOVE Grand Crew!! It shows POC in a way I’ve never seen them portrayed. And I think that’s so important for representation going forward.

I also appreciate the varied looks of the women who are the love interests. It's fun to never know the visual type who will be on the other end of Norm, Sherm or Anthony's meet cute in a particular week.

I loved this show and a racist ad of three of the male actors shaming a white guy for removing a BLM sign from his yard, is why I'm #BOYCOTTING Grand Crew. I sang this shows praises all season for being the only show of color to not stoop to making fun of white people. Great cast, scripts everything. They lost a loyal viewer from that stupid stunt. Shame on whomever thought that was appropriate.

The bigger question is why tf u would let a 30 sec ad concept for a comedic show that's obviously just reflecting whats goin on in the world so that people can get a laugh & maybe not take it so seriously...u let that anger & trigger u to the point of boycotting??
