What a banger this fight. Fan of Holzken. Regian has a dangerous unpredictable style and some nice fast counters. Very nice fight to watch an big respect to both.

Man Holzkens dutch guard didn't work at all is it because the ONE gloves are smaller? Eersel's jab got through nearly everytime like it split the guard. And Holzken just ate it without headmovement😵

No. His Dutch style guard even works on 4 oz gloves. These looked to be 8. I think the solid shots broke the guard. He simply couldn’t block them with enough power to prevent the shots from splitting the guard once he was gassed.

Have kickboxing with smaller gloves. Remove the three knockdown rule and the standing 10 count

Holzken hit him right in the solar plexus with his pointy knees and Reigian treated it as if he got hit in the jewels.

@@tokenpoptart3750 it’s more dirty from Regian than it is a bad call from the ref because they were up against the ropes so the ref had no view.

Holzken was clearly gesturing "Sorry, my bad" after the foul. The angle to see it couldn't be worse in this video. If all 3 in the ring agree it was low, it was low.

there's another and older video of this fight on the ONE channel. it's longer and show's multiple angles of that shot. I do recommend watching that one for a clearer view of the knee shot

1.Slipping side to side have risk of getting head kicked and ducking have risk of getting kneed 2.Nieky is Dutch and Eersel is Surinamese-Dutch so maybe this is the famous Dutch style kickboxing That's what I think 👍

@@fern6498 that's it. in dutch style kickboxing there's not a lot of head movement. it's more about putting forward pressure and using lots and long combo's to disrupt the opponent's ryhtm

Head movement for boxing is not so common in kickboxing because it's safer to just shell up (which is the standard defence for Dutch kickboxing style) and you are at risk of getting kicked or eating a knee. Close ranged high kicks aren't uncommon in professional kickboxing.
