I remember catching a glimpse of this after leaving my game idle on Xbox for some time. I remarked how it looked a bit spoiler filled... and hoo boy was I right. But I guess they don't make much sense out of context.

agreed i played nier replicant for the first time for its remaster and watched the opening. i was like “damn look at all these spoilers” but i couldn’t even remember like 99% of the stuff because the scenes moved so fast.

@Rick Slade yeah, I've been thinking about it and I've watched some gameplay, and it looks really fun! I play Kingdom Hearts games most of the time, and well since it's also an RPG game I think I will like it.

@@jazzwilton8199 you can go with eyes closed. Great story (quite sad too) and characters, great music and great gameplay. Only minor point is graphism, but it's not a major problem.

The original Yoko Taro game, Drakengard, has its roots in Ace Combat

@@bastienhouse5202 before joining Square Enix and Cavia, Yoko Taro had worked for Namco, the developer of Ace Combat series. After that he joined the development of the "Ace Combat and Dynasty Warriors clone about dragons" by the codename Dragonsphere (reference to AC3: Electrosphere) And like that Drakengard was born. There are even some AC3 references in the ending E. Also, one of the directors of the AC3 was a producer for DOD. These two games share some of the development staff too. Upd. This "one of the directors" is Takuya Iwasaki. He was a director for Drakengard too, before Taro joined
