The bomb program is extremely OP against a overwhelmingly large group of machines . I would use blade for a large group of flying machines. Mirage is really nice too for some quick damage

charging wire gives it a longer reach. charging missile makes the damage and lunge distance higher

Slow + overclock = a very fun time

The wire is a program that launches you to the enemy you target. the charged versions just increase the length of the wire so you can catch up to an enemy that is farther away.

It took me a long while to figure this out. First dozen hours i thought i could just pew pew and nothing more.

Bomb is so overpowered, charged up with three pods dude half the health of the final boss

Should note that lv. 2 on the laser pod temporarily gives you an extra song laser (the laser fires like water from a hose) so tapping the fire key with laser also exponentially increases damage just like with gattling.

There's one pod attack you've missed. It's easiest to see if you have overclock installed. Perfect evade a melee attack then while you're evading/just after tap the fire key. You should grab the pod and use it as a cannon for a single shot. Does quite a bit of damage too. Only performable immediately after the evade though, but it is useful. Also with wave, if you have some fast cooldown, you can spam level 1 waves constantly by swapping out each pod.

:/ I started playing Nier a few weeks ago and I play every so often. I’m still missing a massive chunk of info when it comes to upgrading so this kinda helps. I just don’t know HOW to tho

I feel that decoy doesn't last long enough to matter considering how fast you already are and should be overwhelmingly better. Same for repair as the self heal chips and death heal chips get super good. Volt and spears as well. Missle can just be replased with the whip if you want to go in. I think some needs to just be straight OP to be used at all.

70 hours into the game. I never used anything except laser on all three of my Pods. That combined with Ranged Damage + Auto Heal + defensive head + offensive heal, was forced to play this way cause 9s sucks lmao.

The missile pod was a godsend when grinding for levels on the Adam/Eve sand pit lol. Just hold R1 and the machines just spawn and die.

by the time you get to level the pods, you are so overpowered that there's only one reason to do it.

Heh, I never did figure out how to upgrade these things. Nor did I switch to other pod types. I feel like there's a whole area of the game that I missed 😂

It says on the wiki that the wire increases the range on how far the grappling hook can travel!

Mirage/Blade/Slow Are Necessary For Slaughtering Bosses/BADASS Machines With Ease. ESPECIALLY Crucial when fighting as 9S or the Boy-Pincushion.

It's be cool if they add some increased length of the Wire program when the pods are charging the Wire Program

You know, after playing Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Of Us and many other exclusive from Sony it's hard to believe that they keep pumping out new and fresh exclusive and when they do there nothing more then pure ranked epic.
