İbrahim Pasha and Nigar gets defeated by their lust, but this affair soon gets İbrahim Pasha in a trouble. Behram finally gets the ace in his hand that he's been waiting for a long time.
In the meantime, Sultana Hatice's giving birth provides happinness twice. Sultana Hatice's giving birth reunites the whole royal family. However, this happiness doesn't last that long. Mahidevran spills out her hatred against Hürrem. Even İbrahim Pasha's effort wouldn't be enough to calm her down. Mahidevran takes all the risks. She appears before Sultan Suleiman no matter what. Mahidevran tells him that she wants to be freed like Hürrem. Otherwise, she would take Mustafa and leave. Sultan Suleiman responds harshly. What will Mahidevran do after this response? Prince Mustafa sees that Mahidevran is upset and gets involved in this incident. He will confront his father and prove that he isn't a child anymore.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Poor Matrakçı. Must be the ultimate humiliation. They did him so dirty in the series, where he was only Ibrahim's right-hand. In real life however, he was a polymath, mathematician, teacher, historian, geographer, cartographer, swordmaster, navigator, inventor, painter, farmer, and miniaturist.

While honestly this all sounds awesome, I got REALLY curious about him being a "miniaturist". Did he make miniatures of what? Towns? Villages? Cities? Major landmarks?

Honestly Nigar was probably one of the most tragic characters in this series……. Ibrahim betrayed her, Hatice took her innocent child away making her go crazy and even Hurrem to some extent used her for her own personal benefit against Ibrahim despite them being such good friends in the beginning of the series.

Matrakci and Nigar should've had a happy ending. Matrakci always liked Nigar and maybe eventually Nigar will learn to love him. But yeah, the affair with Ibrahim and Nigar made the story more exciting. Overflowing chemistry between them. Kudos!

Right after an affair, Ibrahim just nonchalantly goes to his wife and two newborns and kisses them 😂it doesn't make sense when he said he supposedly lost all feelings for her after she called him her slave, as after that scene he still shows love and affection to her.

What I don't understand is that the her calling him slave, thing happened in episode 29 , we're in 44 And they had romantic moment in between , suddenly he remembers she offended him ....... Besides I think she asked forgiveness for that , didn't she And I don't like to defend Hatice.....

Hatice calling him slave in ep 29, he said he lost his love for her but they still had intimate moments in between before Nigar was because he was trying to forget what Hatice have said and tried to forgive her. But as we all know, the "slave thing" was his weakness. So yeah

While I do believe that Hatice shouldn't have vented her anger on Nigar and her daughter, I firmly believe that Nigar brought this on herself the moment she started having eyes for a married man

Matracki was a good man and good friend to Ibrahim. Unfortunately he was used by his friend for his own selfish gains! Nigars life was so tragic. She would have been happy with a man like Matrakci. But Ibrahim ruined her. All this when his wife was delivering his children. Shameful and utterly bereft of an ounce of humanity or goodness. Ibrahim deserved what he finally got. He had started considering himself higher than the Sultan himself!

Gianna Real life Ibrahim knew 6 languages and was seriously competent. If Ibrahim got arrogant, it was because Suleiman gave him a sense of security, however false it was, it misled Ibrahim to think he was safe.
