Kept traditions and a country pub that stocks English beers, fabulous. There should be more like this all around our once great English countrysides. Show the world that we can maintain our English heritages in Britain.

When I left school in 1976 a pint of Burton ale was 24p a pint.

Over the centuries Britain was built my men who worked hard and drank loads of beer = that's how important a beverage it was and still is.

My uncle worked in the pub trade for a brewery during retirement. A few years ago the breweries cottoned on to the fact they could sell under-performing or derelict pubs off to developers to turn into flats. They're usually in existing residential areas and a lot have car parks too. Bit of a no brainer.
