No matter wut brought u here u came to learn more about Billie holiday an that's a great thing... although there was a few creative liberties sources close to Billie one being her god child was quoted in sayin he was happy that the record was finally gng to be set straight that the movie was as close to the truth as it gets...it was hard to pin down everything about Billie but wut will always be known about her was that she was an amazing woman with a strong passionate voice....and fyi it was closer to her book then the 1972 make starring Diana Ross...keep seeking knowledge wutever the subject matter 💜💜💜💜

Billie Holiday was VERY light skinned. At times when she's darker it's because she got some sun or her managers made her wear darker makeup to blacken her up.
