Your videos are amazing 😍 The best channel for filmmakers I guess. I have a question for you: Well, I have a cheap camera ( canon g7x mark 2) and iPhone 14 Pro. Which is the better option for making cinematic videos? - videos from the iPhone are too sharpened while videos from camera are a little bit blurry- 2 completely opposite results 😅 What would you recommend? Ha! You mentioned my secret with the Meikes and commercial cinematography - I use the Meike FF cines on all my shoots with the C70 and Komodo or S5ii, and adapt them down to S35 sensors- the result is also 🔥 Beautiful outdoor shots on Sarah! The diffusion with the flags is perfectly done and love the minimal setup! Also where did you get that portable haze!!??

I bought the MFT t2.1 version in 16mm, 25mm & 35mm, they’re my Outdoor Video lenses. My Indoor Video lenses (EF mount + Viltrox Speedbooster)are the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 and the (little known) Tamron SP 45 f1.8 and the matching SP 85 since, with the 0.71 Speedbooster they can all achieve f1.3!

Probably the grade I put on it, V-LOG is pretty malleable

Nice…Keep in mind that if you DROP your G85 with the Viltrox speedbooster on it, the sensor can get scatched (ask me how I know, LOL)

@@NigelBarros I actually lost my 2 main cameras (G85 and my favorite INDOOR camera a GX85) to speedboosters…but on the GX85 the Viltrox EF-M2ii caused an electrical problem (probably due to using AF with an older Sigma 17-50 2.8 EX…which is a super old lens with super loud autofocus, so my guess is it was drawing too much power…then the GX85 started glitching…then eventually stopped working, etc. That’s why I switched to only using the all manual Nikon F version, as I used to love using the Nikon AF 50 1.8D, to make it into a 35 f/1.2 (for super cheap too!) You’re always inspiring, and especially your budget approach, so thank you SO MUCH!

At 4:35, why APSC mode bro? And how can we shoot APSC mode exclusively? I thought it does APSC only in 4k60

You can shoot APS-C mode in any frame rate on the S5IIX, I shot in aps-c mode because these lenses are S35 lenses and only cover aps-c. S35 = APS-C for all intents and purposes

My G85 does a weird thing where it increases the image's exposure on its own even though it's in manual. Have you experienced this?

check to see if you have the shutter iso or anything else on auto .. and check the metering as well you may have it on spot metering

Yeah auto iso is the only thing I can think of. setting your exposure mode to manual is all that you should need to do
