Same Africa that loved him failed to protect him🤷🏾‍♂️. At United Nations only the late Robert Mugabe tried to be vocal about it while Zuma voted for him to be crucified. Which Africa loved Gaddafi , I ask ? Not even a single protest at American, British and French embassies across the whole length and breadth of African capital cities. Now is that love 🤷🏾‍♂️

Because USA wanted access to cheap oil without his interference. Also, for USA a war makes the annual budget go up by several billion dollars. Higher the budget, more the jobs, higher the President's commission. Average money spent on Iraq and Libya was ~ $100 Bn. Now USA wants access to cheap minerals and so it is eyeing North Korea. Middle East has gone from okay to worse in absence of Qadafi and Saddam. Yes, they may not have been the best governors or rulers, and their sons may not had the most princely conduct BUT neither Qadafi nor Saddam deserved to die like that. All that was needed was regulation of trade, may be some sanctions and introduction of transparency.
