Nigerians are manufacturing and producing many things that china is producing for Africa. Because of this many Nigerian products are replacing Chinese products in Nigeria and Africa. China is facing lots of difficulties growing in Africa because of the economic growth in Nigeria. Nigerians are producing clothes, tech products and many other industries to compete with Chinese products in Africa

Any type of designer shoes, designer handbags and many more can be reproduced perfectly in Aba in Abia State. They have vastly improved over the years in producing quality products. It’s Forward Ever and backward Never in all goodness for Nigeria and Nigerians and indeed the whole of Africa. Peace of God to all.

It's Aba in Abia State that duplicates cloths, bags and shoes, not Nnewi. Nnewi is synonymous with automobile production and vehicles parts only. Aba now duplicates good quality and they exporr to other African countries as Chinese wears. Their products sre so cheap. When I was in school, I bought Aba made Vasaci shirt for many years and it didn't fade, I have to give out 5 years later. Even when I got bigger, it expands with my body. Aba, Enyimba city is now the fastest growing industrial city in Africa Governor Alex Otti is transforming Aba into a modern city and industrial hub. 4 to 5 years from now, the city will be totally transformed. While Enugu is the fastest growing affluent city because of it's peaceful, academic, hospitality and greenery nature, Kudos to Governor Peter Mbah.

Nigeria will not kick the Chinese market because China has bigger projects constructing major roads, bridges, fastest trains, automobiles, etc. Yes, Nigerian Private is doing great... yet there is a lot of market to be shared. True competition is only visible when like the Chinese government, Nigerian government gets on boatd...that is a pipe dream.

Congrats to Nigeria but China is an industrial giant that surpasses even the USA. They have power supply, industrialized factories, and enormous resources. We cannot make a dent until we fix the power sector, and get some government support. China today wants to move up to high value goods and are pushing lower value manufacturing to Vietnam, Bangladesh etc

Dude China has been moving away from low cost manufacturing because of rising wages that makes it uncompetitive to keep producing low tech products like clothing and gear. They're trying to break into the high tech sector as that is the next stage of their development trajectory. You didn't even mention Bangladesh that makes close to $25 billion from exporting mostly clothes or even Vietnam which has been touted as the new China when it comes to manufacturing you just jumped to China! Who most likely built that facility or the road that led to it? Is it not China?! 😂 We can promote Africa without exaggerating and making bogus claims. This is just one factory. We're talking about a system that can produce any product you could think of and ship it within the same day you give them the blueprint and at affordable cost. You think their ambition is to produce cheap clothes forever!? Are they Africa? 😂

You talk, talk about foreign brand names. How will this sustain the Nigerian economy? It's high time that Nigerians created their own brands and support them instead of giving value to foreign goods. Not only should Nigerians support their own brands, they need to learn how to market them across Africa and in other continents,
