I thought I remember reading that Benue Plateau Television at 0:18 was the fiirst Nigerian television station to broadcast in color in the mid 70's. All state and local TV stations in Nigeria were amalgamated into NTA in 1977.

It's hilarious that the NTA is *still* using the same blocky logo they started using in the 1970s!

1:00 probably the best from NTA for me, pretty good for the early 80s, the music sounds cool too, though the text looks a bit bland 6:58 looks good, but for 2005, it looks old for 2016

You got the wrong NTA Makurdi ident here. The one you used here is the one that was used by NTA's Network Service. They can be seen sometimes on local stations when they're relaying the network service, which they did everyday for several hours.

The graphics of this channel remind me too much of those that exist in Brazilian regional stations and network affiliates.
