The 4-day extravaganza started off with a laid-back bachelorette party by the Lake Balaton, followed by a ‘Stars and Stripes’ American barbecue night. Honoring traditions on both ends, guests were treated to a Nigerian and a Hungarian wedding ceremony.
It makes one’s head spinning just to recount the weekend’s events, a sunset cruise with Gypsy music and surprise fireworks over the Danube, cocktail hour at the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion all led up to the main hit, the gala dinner and party in Corinthia’s magnificent ballroom. Reviving the golden era, bubbly was overflowing the crystal glass tower, while rare jazz tunes were played from century-old gramophones.
