As parents that never change when you have children or a child especially as a mother. I too experience this with my oldest son but my prayers never stop at the mere fact that one day he will see beyond the brokenness that distorts his vision into reality. After a few years of not speaking or wasn't on good terms my prayers has been answered. We are now rebuilding a new relationship, where past mistakes won't be at the forefront. I am teaching him the importance of grace and forgiveness

This hits me hard as a parent of adult children who were influenced heavily by their mother who didn't want the same things for them that I did. I talked to them, gave them all the game I could but it wasn't enough apparently. Fellas, be careful who you have kids with.

My brother I'm living this right now.. Money is not the only way to raise a child.. Let's be real it's not like you can't raise children on bare minimum. It's about preparing and giving life lessons morals and values. To structure and cut time off a little ones life of drifting.. Money isn't real it only look like it.. (Dad from BLOW)

I was once Marquis, didn’t appreciate what my dad did. I only harped one what he should have done. I had to come to the realization that my mother was the problem and not the Saint I anointed her to be. It was a gut wrenching moment and a pivotal time of my life. Staring at a looming divorce on the horizon, facing my shortcomings as a man. You knew who was by my side with a beer and a blunt, ole faithful Pop dukes was there telling me I knew you see the light one day. Pops has passed since, mom won’t talk to me, sisters won’t talk to me. But I got my Uncle/Big brother and we’re being better Men and Dads. I got faith in that young man. I feel bad for his mom when that vail gets lifted and he sees her for who she is. God Bless 50 and his family

This is very insightful for fathers and sons to understand the mind of a real man. What 50cent is expressing is the mind of a father that has love for his son and the proper nourishment to instill the tools of success to his off spring. This knowledge many mothers will never understand and expresses the importance of letting their kids fathers be men to strengthen the knowledge and success within their kids. It's amazing how the mother does not understand her way of dealing with the son is destructive at this point in his journey in life. A man must not be a cub forever and a lion must rise up away from the nest. Moma, it's not about hurting you it's about his dad making a strong successful man that's able to make it on his own. I salut you 50 and continue to speak the knowledge.

Sting the musician isnt giving his money to his children either😮 I found that shocking. And he said it so proudly. I dont even think Eminems girls receive(d) much bc someone asked one of them if she is rich and she said “My dads money is his money.” And they still work and shop at regular stores and live in middle to upper-middle class homes. All of that is very shocking to me. I wish Marquise was just as independent he’d be less miserable. I cant imagine still hanging on to my parents like that and aint no way i’d date a guy screaming at his father for more coins

I owe this man an Apology. I used to think he was tripping for turning his back on his own son. But time revealed that 50 wasn’t the bad guy that I thought he was. In fact I now see that he’s a man who would go all out for you and put you in position to change your whole life if he sees you as his friend or family and you are loyal to him. I just confused the fact that if you choose to go against him then he is more merciless than the average person can be, With him being the “Bad Guy”. But I was wrong and I owe him an Apology. But even more importantly…………… His SON Owes him an Apology.
