@Ivar Boneless The Bible says "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man upon the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." Genesis 6: 5-6. Still, the Lord gave mankind 120 years of warnings, which they disregarded and rejected, not believing God--a problem with mankind all along--seen in your comment. What is truly amazing is that God chose to save eight people alive and repopulate the earth. God hates sin, but in mercy, he sent his only begotten son to die for his people of all nations, kindreds and tongues that repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Can you expand on that? I don't see a problem starting with a different viewpoint to come to a different conclusion. @@PaulHardingham The problem with Creationism is you don't start from a neutral perspective. You start with God done did it. And they twist the data and the results to fit that narrative. Science doesn't just make random guesses. Scientists build theories of observation and peer review studies. That means nothing they claim doesn't already have a bunch of evidence backing it. You should also understand that a scientific theory is not what normal people consider a theory what's your referring to is a hypothesis. A scientific theory is as close to proven as possible.
@thesc0tsm4n9
@thesc0tsm4n9 2 жыл бұрын
@@PaulHardingham you don't presuppose the conclusion then draft an argument to lead to that specifically. That's called fallacious reasoning. Science goes here's a possibility, we can test it with these parameters, then the evidence given from that data set of testing infers if the possibility has a validity to it or not. Science doesn't create a theory based of an assumption, only based on what the literal evidence shows regardless of the person's on bias. Creationism literally can't test its assumption, and it even has to dismiss and excuse evidence and its own bible to try and masquerade stuff to fit its assumption to try and create a false validity for it. To the extent it has to create random made up ideas with no evident basis to do so to try and explain or excuse away issues that invalidate creationism. This is akin to lying.

Noah's ship landed on the mountain of Ararat, where no Noah's ship has been found- hmm. Except for some christians reading into mountain formations like how people find pictures of people in the clouds and constellations. Oh yea, Amos 5:8 - god controls the constellations. What is god doing controlling an arbitrary pattern of stars made up by man? Oh, I know, men made up that story about god, just like they made up their god - see Psalms 115.

SMH. The Bible does NOT say that the Ark landed on "the mountain of Ararat"! Why do you do this?? Why are you so willing to embrace lies, misrepresentations, and deceit instead of wanting to know the truth? God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. If you SINCERELY want to know the truth, then try seeking God (your Creator). Jesus said that "if you continue in my word, then you are indeed my disciples, and YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!"

Genesis 8:4 says.... "upon the mountains of Ararat", it does not say "the mountain of Ararat". You also say "where no Noah's ship has been found" - would you really expect to find a wooden structure on a hill/mountain side from thousands of years ago when it was exposed to the elements anyway? Just because something from 1,000's of years ago can't be found now doesn't mean it never existed so I don't think it's a valid argument against it.

@@Bildad1976 bible clearly states 7 of each clean animal and 2 of each unclean animal. Ark encounter is a joke. It showcases clearly that the animals literally couldn't fit on board. Not even taking into account food needed, fresh water etc. Its quite literally pathetic to believe it's a real event. Especially when there's enough physical evidence now literally sitting there showing the irrationality and invalidity of the ark being possible. They couldn't even physically build it the way the bible stated due to the wood started breaking and couldn't support the weight so they had to use steel and concrete for a large majority of the build. Including thr addition of aircons as the air wasn't able to stay fresh enough due to the stupidity of the construction. Imagine dying due to lack of oxygen simply because the boats design wouldn't let air move freely. And with the amount of animald breathing they'd all be dead within the first few minutes, this isn't even taking into consideration they couldn't fit to start with.
