I was just confused why Oscar the grouch and Darth Vader shared a scene. And why Napoleon screeched so often. Or why a tiny Roman rode into battle on a tamed squirrel and then summoned the Lincoln memorial to punt a bunch of half bird half men into the underworld. I seriously can't remember why it was my least favourite when I was small. Maybe because I didn't like the references.

I love that the first one is a comedy with a nice little story arc to make it a memorable, heartfelt film, while the second just goes all-in on the silly premise to make a terrific comedy. Makes them both stand out as unique and memorable. The third is just sad, and tarnished by every appearance of a very clearly sickly Robin Williams struggling to remember his lines and being a tragic shadow of the man we all knew and loved. It's not a great film to begin with, but it's completely darkened by the sadness of Robin Williams' passing.

When I first saw this movie, I knew a lot of the cast like Amy Adams, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robin Williams but had no idea who Bill Hader was. He's seriously so entertaining!

When I first saw this movie I was so young I couldn’t remember any actors names so when I saw Ricky Gervais I just thought “this guy isn’t famous” but boy was I wrong. He was one of the biggest reasons we got the US office which I’ve been watching everyday since 2012
