I have no idea why but i think most malaysian who are over here would feel likes want to bring all good food in front of you guys and let you three try everything😂😂😂 i always got amused and annoyed both at the same time when i see you guys having difficulties in ordering food…😫😫 language barrier takes time and i wish all malaysian be good to all foreigners😌🥰

some basic information for you guys. 1st. you must know malaysia is incredibly multy culture and diverse country containing many different ethnicities and relegion. each ethnicity have their ancestors cultural. so same about food. we have basic food from malay. chinese. indian. kadazan. iban dayak and many more ethnic in sabah and sarawak. each ethnic have their own culture food and style food. and because about that also we have fusion food (mix ethnic food) malay + chinese food. malay + indian food. chinese + indian food, malay + chinese + indian food. and many more mix and fusion style food in malaysia. and in malaysia also we mix and fusion others country food example malaysia + korean food. malaysia + thailand food. malaysia + japan food. malaysia + western food. malaysia + middle east food and many more and dont forget. each state in malaysia have they own unique and speciality food. so each food stall or restaurant or food court have they on style food with same name. examplae. nasi goreng ayam (chicken fried rice) if u go mamak they have they own style chicken fried rice. if u go chinese food court, they have own style chicken fried rice. if u go malay food court they have own style chicken fried rice. same name same menu but different style of food. 2. for travellers like u all especially from japan. malaysia food is very deep and rich flavor and have malaysia tounge standard about sweet. spicy. salty. so some tips for u guys. if u dont like sweet u can ask them (kurang manis / less sweet) if u dont like spicy u can ask them (kurang pedas / less spicy) u can custom your food in restaurant. cafe. food court. that is special about malaysia food style. if you like more vege u also can ask them (tambah sayur / sayur lebih / extra vege) 3. if u want try the real many food variety in malaysia dont just google. please search in youtube. see others youtubers example wasabi laksa. jalan jalan jesse. chu bro and kaz in kl. and many more. i will said all restaurant or food court they go some is hidden gems place. just local malaysian people eat place. or also u can ask from your instagram example u want laksa. so ask malaysia where best laksa near yourr location example. i want try laksa peneng. where best place near kuala lumpur please recommend me. so u will get the answer after that do some research in your list answer in google and youtube about food or restaurant name. 4. for your information many waiters or cafe or food court or restaurant workers like in this video is foreigner worker. its easy to know when they dont know english and they malay speaking not same as local malaysian. in this video the workers surely from indonesia. malaysian people will know many language is basic malay language and english. and many malaysian can talk more then 3 language. and maybe our malaysia english different cause we called that malaysia style english (manglish) but what ever u said in english they will know it so dont worry. 5. dont be shy in malaysia. malaysia not same like japan. just give smile ask them polite and they will help you. our hospitality i can said 1 of top in the world. and dont shock some time u will get free food when u go some restaurant. thats our cultural. we call it sharing happinnes. many foreign youtubers shock when they get in the situation. please more do Q&A about what u want to know. about u want to eat about place u want to go in your insta or youtube. malaysian people will let u know where our hidden gems place. stay safe and enjoy your journey in malaysia. thank you.

For my recommended is : 1. You need to go pasar malam (night market), because they have so many foods here. Also cheap😍 2. If you want to go ramly burger it is usually open at night.🙌🏻 3. If you want to eat nasi lemak, it is usually sell at morning. You need to search properly the place. 4 You need to plan before you need to buy something. 5. Mamak restaurant usually open in 24hour before covid. You can also eat there😍 Also there are alots of foods in Malaysia. Also take care you all😊

Dinner: Makan malam Dinner/night food: Makanan malam Lunch: Makan tengah hari FOOD during lunch: Makanan tengah hari Breakfast: Sarapan Food in the morning: Makanan pagi Brunch/light breakfast: Minum pagi I like *this food* : Saya suka *... * Suka = suki Cinta = ai Oishi = Sedap/enak/nyaman (Semenanjung Malaysia usually use sedap) Take away: Bungkus/ ta pau Take away (drinks): 1) Ikat tepi - if you want to drink on the go (it means to tie it and leave a small gap at the side to drink with straw) 2) Ikat mati - if you want to bring back home (it means to tie it securely) Another tips to bungkus is 'kuah asing' = to separate the sauce/soup so that the food won't go bad easily. In Malaysia, if we want to bring back that food, we will said “tapau/bungkus”. If we want to eat at that restaurant/place we will said “makan sini/makan disini” but if that place doesn’t have comfortable place to eat just bring it to your home or you can find another comfortable place to eat.
