@@sbeve6969 the camera filter is very cool, but the FOV is just way too extreme at higher speeds.

@@XR4turbo 1 of the third person cameras reduce the fov, and also the fov can also be changed in the settings

There is a cockpit camera and a bumper camera, but not bonnet cam yet. The camera shake can be reduced or disabled, and the alternate chase cam has less FOV pull and less sideways roll. I get the intent from Jem was to exaggerate the sense of speed, similar to how many other arcade racers of two decades back did them (wow i'm old...). That being said I hope they're toggleable or adjustable in the future as well.

@@ATomatoIsAFruit I played the game for a few hours yesterday after posting my comment above and it does need a lot of work. I understand it's not being released until may next year though. The cockpit camera is unusable for me. It would be nice if it was possible to adjust the height and angle of the camera. It feels like it's from the perspective of a short person looking upwards instead of looking straight ahead.ni can never use bumper cam. It's too low to the road. I used the close rear camera but I would love to be able to raise the height of the camera. The pullback speed effects is annoying and I wish there was a way to disable motion blur. I get their intent to simulate the older arcade games but it would be nice to be able to disable the fob stretch , motion blur and camera tilt. I really do hope he gives us bonnet cam too. Something similar to the one in gran Turismo which is kind of like looking down on the bonnet from the roof height. At the beginning of the game there's a mention of how to disable the camera effects I think but it didn't stay on screen long enough for me to read it. I have camera shake disabled. I never liked that effect. Lol you think you're old. I started gaming 41 years ago when I was 9 years old on a zx81 , , zx80 , zx spectrum , commodore 64 and commodore Amiga 500. It was with the older computers I learned basic programming and basic did. I also learned how to tweak and tinker on the Amiga which helped me later on when i got my own computer

@@HikariSakai the full game isn't due for release until may next year. What's available is a prologue / demo of what's to come.

@@Steve30x ye I know, I'm just not a big fan of how they're doing the menu system, it's counter intuitive imo, it's like they tried to be unique for the sake of being unique instead of making a basic menu. I'd rather have a basic menu personally. Easier and faster to go in and out of options and such. By this I meant the whole garage thing where you gotta walk to your car to upgrade it, walk to the door to go out. Like it's cool and all but literally just copy TXR3's menus and bam its perfect lol. another thing is the chase camera feels a little odd, i can't turn it and keep it in a position i want, it's either constant camera turn or none, no freedom of camera (the right stick cam movement that is which was inverted by default for some odd reason lol) I get that this is very early stages but idk I guess it's not really what I had imagined. I just wish Genki made new mainline titles again instead of shitty mobile games now :(

The main problem with the sound is the pitch and volume adjustment. A stock engine sounds like it has a higher rev limit than an upgraded engine? Doesn't seem right, and it doesn't help that the pitch seems to change in a weird fashion as you go faster, like there's a busted Doppler effect. The other non-Silvia cars sound really good though, especially the Toyota.
