This thing has two cakes in a single box. Fuse of the first cake comes out from the other side after the last tube and you have to connect that fuse with the primary fuse of the second cake. So they work in serial mode. Common design in Europe. Funke Fireworks even provides aluminium tape strips to make it easier to connect cakes. In Europe almost all cakes have "main fuse" and "secondary fuse". Fuse doesn't stop at the last tube, but it comes out from the other side. If your cake fails midway..you can light up secondary fuse and then the cake will run in reverse..but you'll get all the shots. The thing is if you have cake that costs 100 €/$ and single tube fails to shoot..you are eligible for full refund. Now if the product has a secondary fuse this is almost never the case.
