This son made me cry. Not out of sadness though. I've been stuck on a girl that's been playing with my emotions for four years, I took a step back recently when she started lying about me to people. The whole four years my friends had been trying to get me to get over her. Even now I don't hate her, but I'm finally over her because my girlfriend came along, and when I fell in love with her about a week ago, she had managed to break the chain that kept me stuck on that same girl for four years. She saved me. I would have gone my whole life single, stuck on the same person if it weren't for my precious heart to have came along and done that for me. She is truly my heart... And she doubts her self all the time and I'm always chasing after her when she pushes me away when she gets upset about things in her life... And well, I've always tried to be the kind of guy that's described in this song. I hadn't heard it until a few days ago she sent me the link. Now every time I hear it I tear up. If I had to be honest, if this came from her, every word is true except the part that she doesn't deserve my love. I keep telling her that she's wrong, and right. Wrong because she does deserve my love, but she's also right because she deserves better than me. One of these days... I promise one of these days I'll make her feel loved, I'll make her feel beyond worth my love. I just hope I'll be able to make her see what I see when I look at her. I'd do anything for her. If any one is out there, and stuck on some one that keeps hurting you, step back. Seriously, take a step back. I wasn't looking for love when my girlfriend found me, I was just waiting for the same girl that had played with my emotions for so long. And then I met some one that became my friend quickly. I had been told she liked me. She told me that her self. I explained that I would love to love her in that way, but I explained the girl I had been stuck on. She was patient with me. She waited, didn't want to force me Into a decision. One night she got upset, I was so worried about her and had thought about dating her for so long after she had said she liked me, that her being as sad as she was (for an unrelated reason) got me to offer to date her if it meant that I she would let me keep her safe. At first it was what she thought it was, me just trying to look out for her. But as soon as I said that to her, I realized just how true it was. That's how she helped rescue me from a life of pain and loneliness. I needed her, and she says she needs me. I'm happy now. And it's because of her. She's my pride and joy. Every one, never take the person you love for granted. Always be patient. Her sending me the link to this song is the kindest thing any one has ever said to me, because she made this song into her message to me. Love grows strongest when it's gone into slowly. Take it slow, give your mind some time to catch up with your heart. And if you're being hurt, take a step back. As hard as it may be to realize... And it is hard for me to have had to come to this realization.. Not every one will change. We're all capable of positive change, but not every one will change. Find some one who will love you for you. And be that person that chases after them when they walk away. That's what I do, and apparently, that's why she loves me. And I'll never stop loving her. If I can go four years on some one who it turns out practically hates me, I can definitely go the rest of my life and longer on some one that actually cares about me. I am helping a friend through tough times. I've saved them countless of times from cutting themselves. Once saved them from cutting their own throat.
