My friend's told me to leave my ex behind because he was controlling me. We broke up two times and he lied about everything from the start. When I first heard the lyric, "lesson learned, I won't beg for a love that I deserve," I thought this song was going to be about someone in an abusive relationship. Mainly people on the receiving end of that abuse feel insignificant and that their abuser is always right, even if he's hurting them. So I won't beg meant, I'll let you have your way. Nope, I was happily mistaken.

It's been a rough years for me and this year will definitely be my worst 😭 (it starts off with me diagnosed with stage 3 bone cancer at the age of 5, lost my left arm at the age of 10... Now I'm 19... And my dad left when I was 9, and my mom would take care of me and my brother but this year 😢 she passed. Dad came back and is mean to me and I've tried everything to regain the bond we use to have)
