The "A7V" tank in the background was actually made after the war especially for the civil strife etc. If you look closely you will see many differences with the ww1 production runs. Small as they were.

The Freikorps were uncentralized military groups financed by right wing political parties and private investors, they mostly consisted of nationalists and conservative volunteers who were financed to fight against the communist uprisings over Germany after the chaos that came after the ww1 defeat. They also fought in the Baltics against the Bolsheviks.

It also originated in the late Napolionic Wars in germany also known as "Befreiungskriege" (liberation wars)

Ah yes Nightcore of a great song sang by Gigachad Karl Sternau personally the Freikorps is really one of the most interesting military groups in History born from WW1 Veterans to protect the interests of the remains of Germany and stopping the Communists in the Baltic and Germany itself in Bavaria, Berlin, the entire North of Germany, the Rhineland etc. the people in the Freikorps where made up of Mild conservatives, Patriots of Germany, to full blown Nazis and the Officers still being loyal to the best way for the Fatherland the return of the Haus von Hohenzollern and Kaiser Wilhelm the second, The Freikorps worked together with the Weimar Republic just because they hated communists so much also fun fact many prominent Nazis where part of the Freikorps before joining Hitler. May we not forget the heroes of the Freikorps but also not celebrate them to much since they did commit many atrocities but the communists did the same soooo yeah Gott mit uns!
