I'm pretty sure in the Canon of the original story, the singer is a doctor, using the body parts of the awful people he murders to help others. So 1, there wouldn't be much of a body to dump, and 2, he would probably do tests for those sorts of things before he does anything, to prevent getting his patients sick.

kinda disappoints me that even two years from now nearly noone has mentioned the guy the song was originally made on before it was turned to nightcore. i love the song and the upbeat to it but honestly the slowish pace and deeper voice along with the original video's artwork sold the idea of him being a human but horribly dark and powerful. reaching out for godhood.

I know a lot of people interpret "Why the good die and the cruel live?" As the good dying and the cruel living, but when I heard it, I first interpreted it as the criminal he's facing leading a cruel life, but expecting a short, easy death in return, one without much pain or suffering. And, as an implication, Lear would promptly strip all hope of their death being good once you consider all the other lyrics like, "Bear no arms, I'll rip those from you."

I love Nightcore. I'm just not a huge fan of how chipmunky it normally sounds. Thing is, this was a PERFECT song to be nightcored, and as much as I love Ashe and Madame, I think it actually sounds better this way. Awesome job, Cherry! Also, forget about Chaotic Good, this is straight up Psycho Good and I love it!
