I finally cut my toxic mother out of my life a month ago and this song completely encapsulates our relationship. Even though she was my mother I was the one who had to encourage her and listen to all of her problems. She never cared about anyone other than herself, the only reason she probably interacted with me at all was to try and make herself look good to her friends then completely cut me down when it was just the two of us. My husband has made me stronger and has been here to support me and all of my decisions. I don't need someone in my life that makes me cry every month. These last 30 days has been heaven with not hearing from her at all. She may have given birth to me but she has only raised me for 2.5 years of my life as she ditched me on my Grandmother whom is a real mother to me. **Update. I still haven't talked with "mother" in now almost a year and I have been getting stronger emotionally every day. My birthday was on Mother's Day this year so I really hope that it really got to her that she's not really a mother. If she ever does find this message (I doubt it) Debi, fuck you. * 2 year update. I haven't spoken nor seen my mother in over two years now. My mental health has been improving and I've starting forgiving to myself for what I allowed her to do to my emotional state. The anger I once held for her is gone. I forgive her but I will never let her hurt me like that again. I'm truly better without her. During these two years I have found out I had undiagnosed adhd which didn't help mixed with depression. There is now a light at the end of the tunnel now that I'm separating myself from the negative thoughts knowing they're not real and that's not how people feel about me. To be honest I liked this guy ,he and I were both in 7th grade ,it wasn’t like a small crush , I was in love with this guy,he and I were friends since the beginning of 6 grade(we were also in the same homeroom and all the classes would transition as a class) ,at the last few weeks of 6 grade I noticed that he kept looking at me and I’d catch him sometimes ,7th grade was right around the corner ,the first day of 7th grade passed and as the days went by I started to notice he had a crush on me ,constantly looking at me ,he had a girlfriend and they were on and off at times ,at first I felt uncomfortable that he was looking at me ,then It started to feel good ,and little did I know this was the beginning of my first heartbreak ,we would talk ,then he started to lose interest? ,I don’t know what it was only he knows ,he showed so much interest one day and the next day and the next day we would act like strangers ,that same guy left the school I’m currently going to bc if reasons ,but he made me not only make me look like a fool but he also broke my heart ,I would really love to talk to him and give him a piece of what I have to say ,but he’s still the same old friend I had ,I’m in 8th grade now ,and although it makes me feel stronger getting over a heartbreak,I still do wish we could’ve ended up being friends in the end ,but all I have now is just a bunch of memories

I have ben reading all the sad things people have been typing, I am sorry what you have gone through. Lets get started, all of my life I have felt like I am different from the rest of the kids around me, a little bit ago I realized why. I don't feel sad, not that I only don't feel sad I cant feel sad, I have had some terrible things happen in my life from family trying take their own lives to loved ones passing. Throughout these moments I never felt sad, I know that some people might say that its a good thing that I cant feel sad. However may I tell you myself ITS A CURSE. I may not be able to feel sad, but because of this the pain moves from sadness to anxiety. I feel like I have been cursed and there is no cure, there is constant anxiety in my life that just wont go away. I have not told anyone of my situation because the anxiety that is destroying my life.
