Be that as it may, a good deal of Nightcore songs here on KZfaq have just had the speed and pitch increased. That being said, one could argue that since the majority of Nightcore songs being remixed are derived from the general standard of "increased speed/pitch", this could in effect be the real standard for Nightcore. However, you are telling the the truth and I agree with you mostly. I am simply saying that Nightcore has a larger standard then how you mentioned it does.

not necessarily, you have to be familiar with the programs, it's not about just increasing the tempo of the song; you have to alter the base, add dubs, increase vocals or decrease vocals, edit vocals, to nightcore something is to edit a song or create a fast-paced song that works well with the original but not completely cross over into dubstep :) hope this helps! (btw don't hate on nightcore)
