My take on a story about this nightcore: A girl named Natasha grew up with little to no friends. She was used to being alone, and didn’t mind it all that much. One day, she was caught off guard when a boy started talking to her and he was very sweet, and slowly but surely the became best friends. In about high school, they became more than friends. This boy was the only person Natasha had opened up to before, since her parents didn’t pay much attention to her. But a couple years later, when they were out of college and living together, the boy’s mom and dad were killed in a car accident. He didn’t have any siblings, and he also didn’t have any other relatives, with his grandparents being dead and his parents didn’t have any siblings either. This caused the boy to become very emotionally unstable. The boy then started drinking, and eventually started abusing Natasha both physically and emotionally. She tried to calm him down, but it was no use. Eventually, he kicked her out of their house in the winter. Heartbroken and hurt, Natasha stayed out there, hoping the boy would realize his mistakes and come back for her. But he never did. And so Natasha died there, and when her ghost realized that he never came back, she eagerly and also sadly went to heaven. The boy didn’t last very long afterwards, and eventually overdosed while taking drugs and drinking alcohol at the same time and died. The end.

The picture reminds me of a story my grandma told me when I was little called “the matchstick girl” There was a girl that sold matchsticks. Her family was very poor, and they had barely enough money to survive. Her grandma was the only person that cared about her. One day, her grandma died. Her father became mean and stricter. One day, it was snowing a lot. Her family hadn’t eaten dinner in a long time, and her father told her not to come back home until every single match was sold. She stayed outside for hours in the cold snow and sold no matchsticks. All of the people told her to go home where it was warm. She told them she couldn’t yet. As she walked around, she saw a house that had a bright light and lots of food. She looked through the window to see a very happy family, nothing like her own. She leaned against the wall of the house and cried. She then saw the ghost of her grandmother, who told her that she could come with her and live happily in heaven with her. The girl agreed happily, and took her grandma’s hand and died.

I’m pretty sure the girl in the picture is the “match girl” from a famous legend/story. She gets abused by her dad after her grandma died and he makes her sell matches everyday, she can’t go back in until she’s sold all of them. Then on Christmas Eve, she was out selling matches but no one bought any. She was practically freezing in the snow so she lit a match. With each match came a delusion of something she dreamed of having. Then, she lit the last match and saw her grandma, reaching her hand out. Then she basically froze to death while having the illusion that she was getting pulled in my her grandma.
