I remember listening to this nightcore a year back and I didn't look at the picture too closely so I thought he didn't have hands. Now, I have watched AOT and am reading the manga. I come back to this song and notice that he is saluting. I feel like such an idiot.

So i just cried my heart out. I use to listen to this song when I was little (like 10) and back then I was living with my abusive dad so when it goes “the war is won” I just kinda realised we’re I was and who I am. Like I won, I live a state away and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Like shit. Shit. I haven’t felt this genuine real emotion in so long. I don’t know how to feel or what to think. Holy shit. I won.

It was right after we thought Armin died. Obviously a lot has changed since then, and my list is only relevant to AoT back in 2016. When the manga ends, (probably next year) I might make an updated list under this.

They represent the AoT "Wings of freedom" and since everything has been taken from him he has no freedom, but a duty to protect those who he does still have left. Hope This helps, I'm a symbolism wizard sometimes.

Am I the only person who cries when you see anything apart of " Attack On Titan "? It's truly a horrible experience. Most people shrug it off and don't see the horrible world these people live in. Imagine being picked up by a giant titan, or creature. The same fear would go through your mind when your worst fear comes true. Imagine being torn apart by this titan and eaten. Imagine the pain to your guts. It's terrible to imagine this, but this is what these people worry about everyday. Not to mention watching your friends and family die. We don't usually realize it, but we live in an amazing, beautiful world. This. Is. War.

Firstly, I love the attack on titan image. My favourite anime, no competition. But also, I'm here because I love this song. Strangely enough, I loved the music video (non nightcore) and used it in music video analysis papers in high school english. Amazing message in my opinion. Amazing music. Awesome Eren back ground.
