There was an argument I saw a few years ago about if Archer (from the fate/stay night series) is the same one throughout all 3 time lines, (Fate:stay night/Unlimited Blade Works/heaven's feel) or if they are all the past versions of the previous "Universe" version and that argument would have been solved quick if the guy that "Knows so much about the fate series" had told him that servants don't remember their time in the holy grail war. He was such a prick that he didn't give a proper reason and just said "That isn't how that works". It makes you think...If people stopped claiming to be right, would they learn to give reasons for their thoughts...

Well no actually. Atroria in the Fifth War remembers both Irisviel von Einzbern and Kiritsugu Emiya, that is why she has such a strange reaction when Shirou tells her his family name and the first time she met Illyasviel von Einzbern. Also her hatred for guns. Before Kiritsugu she only disliked guns and explosives but because of him she started to hate them.

Hes a counter guardian, he can theoretically remember every summoning, even the ones that haven't happened yet, it just depends on how much Alaya allows him to remember. So yes he would be the same one in every timeline, his memory was just taken away at the start by Alaya

This song shows on how tragic it is for Archer/Shirou. He really did just wished that no one else had to suffer. Even to some of his enemies, he desires a world where nobody needed to shed tears. But it couldn't come to be, for that wish that he and his father greatly desire for, was simply impossible, or that it could be achievable, but not without some heavy consequences
