Earlier today, i learnt about her abuse, and i was on the verge of tears while she was trying to comfort me that it was whatever, but i wouldn't accept it, so i just hugged her and refused to let go, i love this woman, i love the tears, the laughs, and the pain. We'll fight this world together, and when we finally have kids, we will break the cycles. I met a girl some time ago, and her name was Anna. That's her name, and I think I chose to use it because of the one in a million chance that she'll actually see it. My name is Liam, and just with that she should know. There's no one is this world that I love more than Anna, and nothing I wish more than for her to be happy. My selfish desire that's apart of this story is that I want to be apart of that happiness. I know that without a doubt she does love me, just as I love her, but of course it cannot be that simple. When we met it was instant affection between the two of us, and that period was argubly the greatest period of my life. Several months passed and she would text me occasionally asking if I was okay, but I couldn't respond. Eventually I did respond, and we met up and talked. She almost immediately started crying on me and apologized for everything she did. She couldn't understand why I came back, why after everything I still loved her. She told me I was an amazing person and so many girls would be grateful for the things I do, and yet I chose her. It was simple. I returned because I truly did love her. Things were great again, until after about two months she repeated the mistakes she said she regretted. She left and shattered me again. Despite all of that, all of the reasons I have to hate her, I just can't bring myself to. I see something more than that. I see just how broken and confused she is. I know where all of these complications come from. She's an incredible person, but never got a chance to show that. Everyone in her life has forced her to hate herself and want to give up, but I don't. She doesn't know what to do with that, how to just be happy and content. She wants to quit, to kill herself and be done, but she can't when she's around me because I show her she's wrong about the world. To her, it's easier to ignore a good love so she doesn't have to think about that kind of life, and be afraid of messing it up. She self destructs on me time and time again, and all I can do is take hold of her and keep her together the best I can. I don't you Anna, no, I love you more than life itself. I want nothing more than to be your hero, to save you. I continue to give everything I have even though you don't see any of it. I hope that one day I can better myself so far that maybe I can actually save you, go so far that you can't deny things anymore.
