​@@Johnny-Thunder Doesnt need to say "AND", it just states it can activate on either case with no limit to only 1 of them. If they wanted it to only activate once, with multiple ways to trigger it then they need to specify that. Like it can trigger only once per turn on either setup or when it moves. And my logic on this is whats beeing used on all the major tournaments so far! and why most youtube podcasts and such rate it as such a great spell right now!

Just saying following Honest wargamer and other competative forums, and how it’s beeing played in big tournaments follow the double trigger! But it’s only double trigger when summoned! Not any later turn.

It has been updated since in the Core Rules Errata. It does count now towards repeating command abilities, quite a nerf to the handgunners i think

That is correct. However, the rules for command abilities says that the same command ability cannot be used in the same phase. It doesn’t say it can’t be “issued” in the same phase, it says it can’t be “used.”

@@bastiend7348 Using a cp is defined in the core rules [6.1]. Receiving a CA counts as usage, even if there is no one to issue, therefore you cannot do another unleash hell with the gunners.

Actually, all the gargants, even the named mercenary variant, lack unique. You can have arcane tome or 5+ wards on all mercenary giants. As the rulebook of 3.0 prevents allies and unique from taking artifacts, nothing about mercenaries, and he is named, but not unique. So, yes bring wizard gatebreakers in every army

Also, you plopped a wizard in front of a bunch of cavalry and didn't say "you shall not pass!", which is like -3 victory points.

Yup we know that. They can still work well as blockers though as you could see in this game.

For a double turn to happen a lot of stuff has to happen first, and If you know you may be a victim of a double turn, you should act accordingly and not throw all in the melee crazily. Sometimes you have to be patient, advance, take positions, maybe not charge, maybe not fight, and force him to make the moves, maybe fail charges, and when the double turn comes, it's not a double round of blows, but just one, or one and a half. If you charge forward like crazy, engage with everything, and then you're obliterated with a double turn, it's your fault, not the game mechanics's.

Steve said on his channel that he recorded a couple of games with Kenny last week, so I'm assuming they will be released this week. It seems to be roughly fortnightly releases for Fantasy at the moment, so should be one out this week, fingers crossed. AoS has absolutely no interest for me, however I understand that AoS does get a lot of views, and often outperforms Fantasy. On the other hand it is really frustrating that they put so many resources into games which do get as many views as Fantasy, such as Bolt Action, Horus Heresy, BFG, and the current AoS narrative campaign, the last one of which only had 9.1k views. Imagine the views a properly resourced and well prepared Fantasy campaign would get, particularly if they bothered to promote Fantasy via social media, which they don't. Finally, I wonder what percentage of people who watch the Fantasy games have a Vault membership in comparison to the viewers of the other games? I would assume Fantasy has quite a high percentage of members watching, as Fantasy fans tend to be a little older and have disposable income.

@@joshual6305 AoS seems to be marketed at pre-adolescents, who probably don't have bank accounts and rely on their parents to buy them the models. I suppose they could ask to borrow their mum's credit card to set up a subscription.
