Early game tip for getting essence is to use the crafting bench to create the marbles. 6 stones are worth 6 essence but 6 stones can be used to create 20 marbles which are worth a total of 40 essence. So you get way more essence by making stone marbles in the beginning.

Or just buy water bottle from the merchant and extract them, you get 4 for 10 and they extract at 10 each 4x return

in the 3 tutorial zone i found realm cards and a umbrela so exploring those zones might be worth it

You're UI looks a lot better then mine. My health and hunger gauges are just bars tucked in the bottom left corner. Is there a setting to change it to that nicer UI? Thanks for the video!

My advice, have one dump chest that your follower can use and only let them use that chest. Otherwise they will drop stuff all over and it can be a pain to sort it all. Also, it wasn't mentioned, but if you dismiss a follower and it is carrying resources, it will dump them in a chest it has access to if there is one.

just at 25 min so idk if he said it, but you can hold e to gather everything other than pressing e three or four time. For exemple, you just chop down a tree. you hold e, you get every single log. it's faster :)

1:15:20 I watched this whole video. Very nice! I'm going to delve more into your videos, but I'm trying not to spoil myself. I mainly want to look out for things I can't figure out. Like I had no clue how to use the mining picks. I knew how to pull myself up onto a cliff, but it had to be at my chest. I wasn't able to scale walls. I then figured out and oh the places I could have gotten myself out of. No, you can't scale a sheer wall without them but if a cliffside is kind of jagged you *can* get up a very high cliff, but it wasn't easy. I sort of made it my challenge to *not* go around the cliff, but to go up. I think I wasted 30 minutes being stubborn on that... lol, but I did do it. I wished I had known sooner how to use the climbing picks. I still feel they are kind of janky. Also, the graphics make me look like at times I have 4 arms. Dr. Oct anyone? Currently I have Recovery to heal, but I have no clue how to get use it yet. I'm still trying to figure it out, and I can't, I'm hoping you have a video on starting magic with Recovery. BTW I beat the second boss already so I feel I should have had magic already.

48:05 I've been playing since Early Release; I love this video and caught a few nuggets I didn't know. The UI have changed and I kinda like some of this old look, but I know they will continue to revamp the UI until 1.0 release. I just finished my 2nd boss so working to get to the next realm, but I need to upgrade more so going back to farm more green essence.

Love the game so far if the devs will listen to even more feedback for qol (they already working on offline mode!)and AI in combat and making some form of crafting from storage (bugs are to be expected) and for the love of god inventory STACK management! It can be even greater but as of now it needs to cook just a bit more.

Can you permanently miss hope echoes in the tutorial? For example if you didn't grab the one in the first area is it gone forever or can you find it again later?

Are the locations in a realm pre generated or random when getting there rewards from puzzles? Do they reset after i close a realm or would it still have the same loot in a new place? The confusion is real lmao

Ive been playing for about, idk, 5 , 6 hours. Completed tutorial and have a bunch of tier 1 items and benches and a small stone base.....i need ink though, hopefully thats in this tutorial aswell. Great so far though with it.

I find it odd that in the pre-release UI the left hand stuff was on the left side of the hotbar, and the right hand stuff on the right -- which makes sense! but then in the release UI they swapped it so now they are opposite of the hands. Very weird.

You just need to bend or crouch while hitting or anything else lower you need to interact with. it's the CTRL or I change it to the normal C.

@@LuckyGhostthis actually isn’t true. If you hit x on the keyboard it will allow you to move and deconstruct things. By deconstructing you get the resources back.

The game is great really enjoying it the servers on the other hand are trash and haven to stay connected to them is a huge problem it’s making the game unplayable at times

Shame theres no way to use the HUD layout shown here... i feel like i prefer its sylised look. And the off hand being on the left and main on right is nice, having them switched on current HUD feels clunky because the main hand items are next to left off hand and vice versa (in first person). Enjoying the game though, definitely going to be a great game!

I don't understand. You said your first reals is your home and thats it. But I thought my home is any realm where I place respite thing, no?? I thought I could travel across different realms and choose one where I will place my teleported and will call it a home. :( and you saying we are forced to live in first realm game gave us?

its an early access bug, it will update eventually, and likely bounce around a lot as you play. but it will recognize you hit 20 and credit you for it

thanks! and actually as with many words, there are 3 different ways to pronounce it, all of which are correct :) look into it some time (tldr the way your town pronounces a word isn't necessarily the only way the world pronounces a word)

wont play the game due to from what ive seen in comments on steam.. even if your playing single player your playing on a server so it will lag even then.. not worth it .. even worse if there servers go down or your not where there servers are

They took a big L on this. Not 3rd person, graphics are meh, mechanics are meh, UI design is dated. This just doesn't compete with current market and demand.

just a slight correction, you can press F5 and switch to third person so its already in the game. its in its early implementation and being fleshed out as we speak

@@LuckyGhost The 3rd person toggle is for "some" mechanics. You are forced into FPV for majority of the things. A ton of us were really hoping for the new big thing but this just isn't it yet. Hopefully they focus on this and open it up to compete with current titles.
