haha, we do not have "hooligans" in America! We do have the occasional absolute banana bathing neaked in the fountain in the park or dancing on an 18 wheeler going down the highway but street fights are super rare even in the zombified drug areas. tbh maybe our drugs are too strong! Any major city Houston, LA, NY is fine to just trudge around and not see any of that. Public intoxication gets you put in the dry out tank for a few hours so you really really don't even want to appear too tipsy while wandering around, but if you are, blame it on inner ear infection lol and keep holding your ear, thats how i stumble home after margaritas!

Depends on how conservative/obedient that country is and fearful, as they have less freedums to express themselves; takes their country longer to evolve . Plus NY has a buttload of people crammed into it.. usually not that bad; poorer countries I've seen, were much worse, where they don't even have proper waste management, they are basically poisoning their own drinking water supply and our oceans.

i noticed when societies get too diverse, public places become less clean. It seems people lose their connection to the larger collectivity and start identifying more with their closer social groups, and this leads to not caring much about beutifying and keeping collective places clean

But... the benefit of keeping rural folks a lil held back is that they will "hopefully" stay put, since they do spout zenophobic things from time to time. Whenever I see attractive young ladies in a drinking establishment , I remember the case of Imette San Guillen during the 90s. Imette was a promising forensic psychologist who was studying for her Masters at John Jay College in Manhattan. She was being groomed for a high position within the ranks of the NYPD. She went out drinking in a trendy Manhattan bar with some so called ''friends''. Hours later, the so called ''friends'' left her by herself in the bar. The wealthy Yuppie bar owner must have had his negligent head up his dumb ass. At 4AM (closing time) the thirsty Imette was still asking for more drinks. Instead of securing Imette with a trusted cab ride home, he threw Imette out of the bar in the care of a sex pervert bouncer from Brooklyn. The perverted bouncer kidnapped Imette coupled with sexual assault. He dropped off the dead body on the Belt Highway. I say no more. However the lesson here is that friends don't desert friends in bars no matter what. RIP Ms. San Guillen.
