Before setting on their established psychedelic/heavy rock/stoner sound, Nightstalker was a heavy metal band proper, having appeared with two instrumental tracks in Molon Lave's 1990 "Metal Gear" compilation. This is the one that closes side B' (side A' opened with their "Blooming Marigold" track) and I guess it wouldn't feel out of place in a Shrapnel Records release of the time.
