Nighttime Macro Photography Tips

In this video, I’m going to give you some quick tips for successful photos on a nighttime macro session. I will also talk about the two important pieces of gear that you will need if you ever decide to give nighttime photography a try.

very nice again - have not tried night photography for macro yet - had not considered the idea of being able to keep the constant light on making it much easier to get and maintain focus while the flash overpowers! Thanks for sharing these tips.

Great stuff, as always. I end up doing night macro sometimes when I'm looking for frogs and lizards. I really like running into giant moths from time to time around this time of the year.

@@Xx7trey I kinda had the opposite problem back then. There was a mating pair of polyphemus moths literally at my door. I didn't have a macro lens at the time. And this year, I had a male Luna moth but didn't get the angle I wanted.
