Troy Donockley is the band's multi-instrumentalist. He plays the whistle, the Uilleann pipes, the bouzouki, the guitar, other instruments and often adds his voice to the harmonies that Floor and Marko provide. Thank you so much for reacting to this, Cami my friend. Maybe next, one of my favorites, and totally different in tone from this one "Dead Boy's Poem" live in Buenas Aires 2018 from the Decades Tour.

That was Troy Donockley, not Emmpu Vuorinen. Emmpu is the guitarist, Troy is the English multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist. Troy lives near my home town (York, England). I first met him about 35 years ago, when he played with his then band U Slosh. That opening to the song was sung in Cumbrian/Welsh, an old British Language still in use in parts of Wales.

hI 'Cami', Troy Donockley is Englsh and joined the band at the same time as Floor. He recorded various instrumentals for the band from 2007, but following the Wacken concert in th Summer of 2013 he bacame a full-time member. Thank you so much for reacting to this. Joined at the same time, but Troy had been on NW albums before. This was, I think, the first tour he was on with them.

@@Garbox80 I did actually write that in my response. He played Uillean pipe on 'The Islander' and is also prominent on 'Meadows of Heaven'. Cheers

The live version of The Carpenter features Troy as lead vocals for most of the song... confusing Troy for Empuu is not out of line if new to NW as Troy also plays guitar. As did Marco on this track

My Walden is based on Henry Thoreau's book Walden, which is about over 2 years spent in a cabin in the woods near Walden pond Massachusetts. All about Peace and harmony with nature.

Emppu is the blond gitarist, he never sings.But it is a undrrstandable mistake❤❤😂😂

Troy was the one playing the Irish Bag Pipes and he sang the intro to the song. Emppu plays lead guitar but does not sing. You may see him singing along with a song, but he doesn't have a microphone.

Good video! And if necessary, you can of course stop the video for commenting, after all, this is a reaction video and not a music video. Previous commenters have made that name correction. It is understandable that it takes time to learn to remember all the current and previous members of the band by name. Usually, first you learn the names of the singers (such as Floor, Tarja, Marko, Anette). Then the names of others later. Emppu doesn't really sing in the band and doesn't even participate in interviews. I remember at some event all the NW members were there and each one in turn gave a comment, including Emppu. But he said something very short, one sentence. And since then, many texts like "Emppu can talk?", "I didn't know Emppu could talk!" came into the comment field of the video. 😂😂😂 BTW. When Marko wrote his resignation letter from Nightwish, he ended by saying something like this "Now it's my time to look for "My Walden". So when he left, he referred to this NW song... 😊

Stop as much as you need! If you want to react to songs where you can hear Troy's singing a bit more, try _How's_ _the_ _Heart?_ acoustic (Planet Rock acoustic session) where he's supporting Floor, or _Harvest_ (official lyric video) where he takes the lead. Enjoy!

En mi opinión,este grupo sonaba mejor con Tarja Turumen,le daba más personalidad al género,aquel que no disfrute de The Phanton of The Opera ( Official Live ) 14 de Agosto 2020 no conoce la historia de este grupo.

I really liked Tarja on covers they did, like Symphony of Destruction and High Hopes. She sounded perfect on those songs 😂😂😂
