This is what unconstrained genius looks and sounds like. Tuomas is a visionary and he does exactly what he pleases and goes wherever his muse takes him. It's on us to keep up and follow along. That he leaves many behind is no surprise. This... this composition is fucking epic. And it's as deep as the Marianas Trench. This world, this existence is awesome if you take the time to grasp for understanding. The glittering beauty of mathematics, music as the voice of God, the natural world with its "endless forms most beautiful". It's all there for the beholding. But you have to reach out grasp it, you must have a savage thirst for comprehension as the price of admission.

Yesterwynde will be their 10th studio album. The male voice at the end is multi instrumentalist Troy Donockley. Unless you have checked out this band outside of this channel, then this is the first time you are hearing him. He started playing with Nightwish in 2007, made permanent in 2013 along with Floor. He has sung with them before, but mostly harmonies. His vocal role has expanded since Marko left in 2021, with this being the 1st album since then. The album is the 3rd in an album trilogy, with Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Human:II:Nature, all dealing with science, life, evolution, etc. Try songs from EFMB if you want a better idea of the themes, "Shudder Before the Beautiful", "Weak Fantasy" and "The Greatest Show On Earth". all played at Tampere 2015 and Wembley 2015. And to properly meet Troy, check out "I Want My Tears Back" from the Buenos Aires 2018 show.

Hello again, guys. Nightwish Army Phoenix subscriber here again. Once again, our metal Mozart, Tuomas Holopainen, has produced a masterpiece on the order of their "Greatest Show on Earth". Floor's voice is impeccable throughout and then to drop out the music to hear Troy's gentle voice at the end... simply amazing and wonderful. Loved it and thank you both for this great reaction.

Great song, great video, great reaction!! The title of album Yesterwynde is actually a non exiting word that Troy came up with. Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled.. Perfume of the timeless, well its almonst a ghost energy song right, telling all these ancestors is perfume around in a timeless world, being around you still, also a message that your existens matters!! i feel tuomas also put in a little message that mankind could do better still, Einstein turn to ape.. I listened to this song maybe 50 times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me. cant wait for rest of album!!
