Please, please make a run through the Wembley concert as you did with Wacken. Suggestion for a reaction, Weak Fantasy @Wembley. One of the most impressive songs both in lyrics and mood from the album. Also on the heavier side what you will enjoy for sure. Love you guys, greeting from Finland.

Great way to start a show! Btw you listened to at least Poet&Pendulum from Wembley. Totally agree about the drums. Nightwish from the early beginnings had way more complexity in the drums than any other band I know, and in my opinion that is what keeps their songs interesting to hear repeatedly. I mean if even Kai Hahto has to really dig in for several hours to learn certain sections, that's saying something about how much thought went in there.

I always knew, that Jukka belongs into the section of superdrummers. And I'm still sure, that he had a lot of influence on his parts, especially when it comes to all those little (but very important) details. But although I was a little bit surprised, when I heard Kai mention his "struggling" with the middle part of Storytime.

Great breakdown guys. You have a great ear, you really pay attention and you have a good feel for music... Agree, those chugging guitars and that constant double bass really lays a good, heavy foundation for this otherwise relatively light (but amazing) song

8 July 2020, Retrospective Reaction #289... the first one since 30 Dec 2019, I am afraid. But hey, at least it's a one with the "fingering" pun! I had added this one and two more to my "To-Watch" list before the New Year purely coincidentally put my retrospective on hold. Now, I've decided to watch videos #289, #290 and #291, and then... Then I have to get _super-selective_ in my effort to catch you Guys up since I am over 12 months behind (though _some_ isolated videos from _your_ past 12 months I _have_ watched)... Also, in order to save time, I have to keep comments brief. Here goes... *My Reaction to Your Reaction:* Pedro, lecturing about fingering to Antonio = the Best Dad Ever! 😁 ... *1)* Ooh! An excellent point baout the drums going unappreciated on Nightwish songs! I completely agree! My late friend (R.I.P.) used to say that *Jukka* was one of the three best Metal drummers in Finland... to which I can only add that *Kai* has filled Jukka's seat successfully! Both men deserve more credit for their work in Nightwish. *2)* The next excellent point: Nightwish (or should I say Tuomas?) _indeed_ knows when to use *Marco* (now *Marko* once again, of course), and Marko is the best at what he does in Finland - the Most _Metal_ vocalist in Finland! 🤘 Great Reaction, you Guys! 👍 ("No fisting!")

"Over the Hills and Far Away", official video (Tarja period) And I'm pretty sure you've done "The Poet and the Pendulum" from this concert before. But this is only your second Nightwish video with a song that was actually written for Floor (the other was "Yours Is an Empty Hope").

This was a great song to choose as an opening act. They also used it in Tampere and probably elsewhere in this capacity. I have already voted for Weak Fantasy. :-) If you want to check out Floor´s old bands, I have two suggestions, but I can´t decide which one is better for a reaction. Below you will find a statement from Jukka Nevalainen, who`s been the drummer in the band since their 1997 debut album “Angels Fall First”: “It has now been five years since my difficult decision, due to severe insomnia, to step aside from the Vehicle of Spirit of Nightwish. This included the previous studio album and the tours which followed. As I then expected, it turned out to be the right thing to do. These days I'm doing fantastic, and hardly ever need to deal with any sleeping issues. It also dawned on me that having more time to merely focus on band - related things happening behind the curtains made all the difference. Having said this, I have decided not to push my luck by returning to the band. My dear pal Kai Hahto will take my place as a full-time member of the band. I will continue to take care of the band`s businesses in the background, and I`m very much looking forward to what other adventures life has to offer! That crowd chant starts to be a part of the song for me - think I couldn't enjoy it anymore without it :) Or enjoyed the song, but would feel that part a bit too light. It's like a choir who the guitar and base lead.
