As a native English speaker, I really have to commend your diction here, because you are so much easier to understand than any other person I've ever heard singing this song. Such beautiful lyrics, but most people I've heard singing it (including Tarja) don't enunciate them clearly enough to do them justice. Your version is absolutely lovely 😊

Kinda helps that she doesn't always sing the correct lyrics but what she thinks is right. Easily recognizable example: 'separating the poet from the awe' instead of 'separating the poet from the woe' @ 1:43

The more operatic the song, the harder to pronounce the words. That comes with the genre. Operatic singers have to round the vowels, push their larynx down the throat and make mouth as spacey as possible. It's not similar singing as contemporary rock or pop. People that don't listen opera, don't get it.

@@Aurinkohirvi I know that very well, and plenty of singers are able to do it far better than Tarja. Her English accent just isn't very good. Her Spanish is actually far better.

Ahh... The song that made me fall in love with Nightwish 18 years ago. I was at a New Years eve party just going through the host's cd collection when I found this. At some point, after I had replayed the song 4-5 times, the guy says "Again?! You do know there is a whole album after this song, right?" Interesting... You did it beautifully!! I would love it if you could do Dead Boy's Poem and/or Fantasmic. These songs deserve great covers!!

Love that girl. Such spirit, attitude and joy. And bravery! As old Nightwish songs don't get much harder and more operatic than this! Or I suppose it depends on the singer, but definately a lot in the difficulty scale. Not expecting an operatic approach, which makes it even harder. Continuing video.. Yeaaaah, success! Man that's a difficult mountain to climb! Good job both of you! Loved the energy (it is an energetic song)!

One of my favorites of Nightwish and great cover! I had it written on a tape from the radio on the old metal zone of 1055 Rock.. together with Kamelot - The expedition, Iron Mainden - the evil that men do, etc...

After listening to this, I am quite speechless. But I have to say, this is one of the most amazing things I have ever had the grace to hear. Thank you, truly, for doing this. For someone to whom this song has been in the very centre of heart for two decades, this was literally a breath-taking experience. Such a gift that I happened to found this. Stargazers is the most energetic older song of Nightwish, which perfectly describes young Nightwish, young, unexperienced, but already grandeur, and destined for greatness, when i listen it if studio version, not with video,i can clearly see those 5 young amazing genious people, having fun and playing for stadiums of amazed followers
