Да, песня - шедевр, но фильм так себе ... Единственное, что греет душу, что это семейство закройщиков, о котором идёт речь в фильме, изначально шило одежду для царской семьи Российской Империи. Так или не иначе история Финляндии и Российской Империи тесно связаны.

I mean it's a typical power ballad but it doesn't show his vocal range off properly. I like him more on something like The Phantom of the Opera from years back with Tarja - I like the high notes combined with gravel.

@Shelby Burma "Kiss while your lips are still red" this line is accurate biological meaning. if a woman is aroused, her lips get pumper and more blood flows. "Hold another hand while the hand's still without a tool" he is holding her hand and hasnt decided if he want to build a home with her "Drown into eyes while they're still blind Love while the night still hides the withering dawn" love is blind . "wilthering dawn" that is an interesting phrase "it is intended to make someone mortified." i think the song is more bout 1st weeks of relationship when 2 people are in bliss and havent woken up to reality (relationship needs work).. this seems to be backed with "The violin, the poet's hand" when a poet or composer composes, he/she feels the music with heart vs logic.

@@gennieapulova8017 I interpret the song to mean, that Kiss while you still can, love while you still can, before you miss the opportunity and you might lose that person. It reminds me not to waste good bonding or good connection with someone. While at times we tend to procrastinate and take our time, or maybe not value the other person while they are still with us, we might end up losing a good close friendship or a meaningful relationship, because we neglected the other person and they moved on.

Marko Hietala has a very good voice and the video was perfectly well done, watching 2 lovers playing together in the snow.

This song is so beautiful! I was crying after an incident occurred before I arrived for guitar lessons where my mum was parking our car in front of my guitar teacher's neighbour's house to drop me off. An incident occurred when an old lady who is his neighbour got mad at us for parking in front of her house (it's public parking, not private parking!) which caused me to overreact and stress out. But this song cheered me up and helps me reduce the amount of stress I'm experiencing. 🥰💖

This reminds me of when I was in high school when I used to listen to this song on warm summer evenings while the sun was setting. I particularly remember one evening when the sky was in such a beautiful purple, violet colour. Life was so different back then and I did not even know love back then. While driving on a trip, I suddenly heard this song turned on by a friend. First I have to shout out that this is a really amazing and catchy song. Then I have been listening to this song throughout my journey so far. I started listening to all of Nightwish's songs including known songs and unknown songs that I had never heard before. Now I listen to Nightwish every night, whenever I have free time... Yes! More Marco. He is such a versatile vocalist. He can go totally heavy like on I Wish I Had an Angel or he can do gentle like here. Such a beautiful song.

TheVixenne I find it offensive that people think Tarja (as amazing as she was) was the soul of the band. Marco is a God. Everyone together makes the soul of Nightwish.

I think everybody knows the song isn't the same without him, just like Islander and Endlessness (which Tuomas wanted to play it live). I'm quite sure Nightwish won't ever play these songs.

We just had our wedding with my wife on the 2nd of October. I1m a big Nightwish fan and our wedding dance was to While Your Lips Are Still Red. On the 30th of November we will go to the live concert here in Hungary. We will miss you Marko and wish you the best! And we wish good luck for Jukka too! :)

когда впервые услышала эту песню я испытывала такое удивление. Никогда мне не приходило голову,что мужчина с таким, вроде бы, грубым голосом и брутальным видом может так нежно петь романтические песни. Ей Богу вообще неожидала. После прослушивания следующего альбома я поняла, что Марко очень разнообразный певец. Именно после этого я полюбила и его и саму nightwish после 1 эпохи. Спасибо вам ребята за ваши старания и за эти замечательные альбомы. Я так люблю вас❤❤❤❤

Если Вы не слышали, то обязательно советую Вам послушать песню nightwish кавер на Майкл Ньюман The Heart Asks Pleasure First. Это тоже потрясающая баллада. Увы её нет официальном сайте группы. Анетт просто великолепно.
