As people say, "singers sing what they can, Floor sings whatever she wants". Literally. And not to mention her presence..

Every now and then Toumas lets her off her leash :) Not only can Floor growl, she can sing Shallow softer, sweeter and better than lady Gaga. There is literally nothing she can't do with her voice. A generational talent.

This is set as my alarm.. Nothing gets me out of bed faster than Floor yelling at me.

Floor is a metal singer, 100%. More then that, she can do anything with her voice.

That opening riff is one of my favorites of all time. Emppu is so underrated. One of the best reactions I've seen to this song. Almost everyone else thought Marko was doing the growling, but you figured it out so fast.

This is actually the second song of the show, they opened with their absolute BANGER "Shudder Before The Beautiful." These first two songs of this concert are an incredible one-two punch!

As a colleague of yours said it. They floor you, throw you down the stairs, pick you up and tell everything is ok - just to throw you down the stairs again and floor you to tell everything is ok. And when you think they are done with you - there is more.. And yet you smile like a donkey the whole time. If you want another flavor of the same kind, watch "Face Your Demons" from her solo concert 2021. "I am the one who haunts your soul.." - you will know when that line hits you.

This song is two things: 1. One big flip-off to Internet trolls everywhere. 2. Proof that most singers sing what they can, but Floor sings what she wants.

Yes, it is . 🤣. Marko is singing the cleans. Yes way, it most certainly is. The song is basically Tuomas telling off all the internet trolls. From the Endless Forms Most Beautiful album, this was the tour for that record. Track 2 on the album, and song #2 in this concert. Preceded in both cases by one of their great openers, "Shudder Before the Beautiful". This song, and to a lesser extent Ghost River at Wacken, is the extent of her growling with Nightwish so far. She did more of that with her former band ReVamp, To check out ReVamp, try "Disdain" or "The Trial of Monsters" live at Graspop 2010.

This performance is actually five months after her Nightwish Wacken performance. It's a fancam video so not the best quality, but if you think "Yours Is An Empty Hope" blew your mind, when she goes from growl to opera, you'll need the entire bottle.

Even Floor's growls are comforting to me. It's super heavy but sweet at the same time. There are other musicians that growl, and it sounds demonic, but Floor's growls are just perfect, and not off putting. I think her growls are natural sounding, like in nature. That's why Floor's so pleasing to hear growl. For me anyway. Love the reaction. Hope you get to more Nightwish soon.

Always glad when someone uses the Wembley performance for this. 9 out of 10 times they miss that its Floor doing the growling in the chorus it's because they're not watching this performance where they did such a good job with the recording and the camera work that it's really hard to miss This performance has a bunch of great ones in it. Poet was this concert. Shudder Before the Beautiful is great, they kicked off the show with that; 7 Days to the Wolves...then of course there's Greatest Show on Earth, but you should save that one. Its the only one of the big 3 you hagnt done yet, so give yourself some time.
