IT Specialists serve every area of the NIH and enable the business side of the NIH to meet the mission. IT Specialists manage IT security and maintenance issues throughout all of the Institutes, as well as keep up to date with trends and changes in the information technology industry, communicate technical information to customers, and comply with IT legislative requirements. Additionally, IT Specialists are responsible for IT planning, policy, and strategy.
