This video is a walk through a spectacular view that I found on my journey around Japan, starting from Tokyo. This time I walk through Nihon-daira.
Nihon-daira is an observation spot located in Shizuoka Prefecture, and boasts such a spectacular view that it has been selected as a night view heritage of Japan. From this spot, you can see Mt. Fuji, a symbol of Japan, and a panoramic view of the beautiful Suruga Bay. Especially on a clear day, the magnificent scenery of the blue sky, majestic Mt. Fuji, and the sparkling sea spreads out, overwhelms visitors.
Nihon-daira is not only beautiful in nature, but you can also enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom in abundance, in summer, the scenery is lush, and in autumn, the leaves turn vivid colors. In winter, you can see Mt. Fuji even more clearly in the clear air. These seasonal changes bring new discoveries and impressions no matter how many times you visit.
And when talking about the charm of Nihon-daira, its beautiful night view is indispensable. From evening to night, the city lights gradually come on, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The night view from the observation deck is especially special, with the moonlight reflected on Suruga Bay and the glow of Shizuoka city in the distance sparkling like jewels. Enjoying the night view in silence offers a completely different feel from the daytime.
