There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

I actually agree here. Talking about a players mannerisms while he is all in....isn't good. It directly affects the outcome of the action; at first Taras assumed he was supposed to have called based on table talk, then commenting on Nik being quiet is information that not everyone may have had.

I’m not for tells. But Charles instinctively covers his mouth with his hand for a second or too when he bluffs. I’ve seen him do it 3 times now. He was bluffing all three times

But over his videos, when he puts his hand over his mouth ,he bluffs. Unless he’s some kind of girlie man who covers his mouth as he laughs. It’s not a trait men do. It’s not the whole time. But I’ve seen him do it three times. No I do t remember which videos. But he does it actually twice on the same bluff in this hand.

Again im not one for tells they are silly. But men don’t cover their mouths when they laugh ( I’ve seen him do it in three different videos when he was bluffing). I don’t give a crap what he does when he’s calling That’s not the hand I’m referring too. I’m referring to the hand he is bluffing in. If he covers his mouth when he’s calling. I don’t really care. Though I’m sure some “tell” nerd would say he is weak when he covers his mouth , he’s calling with a bad hand. If I was playing him , and I didn’t know which choice, fold or call ,had the better EV . I get that you can get away with more in high stakes live streams but this one is pretty out of line. Taras tables his hand, but he is not looking at airball trying to get a read. He is explicitly trying to get a read from the table and is addressing the table. When he basically asks them what he should do they say they can't help, but then Doug proceeds to highlight Niks expressions and make fun of him. Nik does the right thing to say composed but is kind of an unfair spot as he can't defend himself/point out that the hand isn't over. I honestly think Taras might have folded without turning over his hand. Nik can obviously take it, but classic Doug tactic of lets make fun of someone who is in someway compromised/unable to fight back and exploit a power imbalance.....but it's ok because it's a funny joke. He should have just waited to needle Nik after the hand.

I love watching Nik Airball, and there's no doubt he has heart and talent as a poker player, but there is no universe where playing 7-3 off suit (and the plethora of other junk hands that he regularly plays) is ever going to be a profitable strategy. This is poker 101 and he is simply reducing the ratio of skill to luck to such an extent that he is almost inevitably going to lose serious amounts of money. I totally get it that he wants to mix it up a bit, but the way he has been playing recently is frankly ridiculous.
