For me…these are the first Lebrons in a long time that are really exciting. Really good to hear that the shoe performs as expected and possibly better.

Excited for these but at the same time saddened that LeBron line didn't get this design language earlier due to Nike using his line to show off over-the-top tech. He has evidently been dissatisfied with his main line for years.

Who would’ve thought that when you concentrate on the basics rather than over the top tech you produce a solid basketball shoe.

Might be the best LeBron performer ever. I liked the bulkier, cushion-loaded ones but this is a nice little step on his line

Yes they aren't a Kobe but the Kobe line literally started this back in 2008/9 with the Kobe 4. A decade+ later it still works. It proves Kobe's point, a low top shoe can work for basketball, his theory was that soccer players put way more torque and lateral force on their ankles when they play and yet cleats are all low cut so why can't basketball players do the same

Thanks for the review, Jackson. I am glad you pointed out that no basketball shoes are really worth $200 if you think about it. It’s how much you value them. I do not think you can value basketball shoes based on how nice the materials feel on hand anymore. Those days are gone. It’s all about how the shoes perform.

Nikes main strategy with these was to boost LeBron sales by making it look like a shoe that the market really wants (kobes).

Kobe 4/5 hybrid in my eyes. Kobe 4’s we’re kinda bulky but nimble in the heel to me and the front of the 6’s look more streamlined like the front of the 20’s. Should be getting mines in the mail this weekend. Can’t wait to try them out. Been hooping in the Kobe’s consistently since the OG 4’s.

Almost 2 years out, this is still my favorite hoop shoe. Durability turned out to be incredible and the performance has been fantastic.

My first LeBrons were the Zoom Soldier II, I loved those shoes, they were really like tanks. My last LeBrons were the VIIIs in the black & red (Miami) cw, they are still my no.1 favourites. After that I haven’t been really excited for any new LeBrons up until now… these 20s are beautiful, I’d wear them as a casual on street.

Lebron 15 was the best for us wide footers. Stayed at a 13, never had to go up a size.

Court feel is actually great. Only 22 mm high (heel). I feel like the name LeBron immediately makes you think bad court feel

Great review Jackson, I feel these will sell out and not sit. They look good and preform good. The stability has always been an issue for me in LeBrons. These seem to have fixed that problem. I may have to give them a go.

I got em too, and i dont have anything to complain about too. Its not a really good deal for the perforcemence it has and the money it costs since they are 200$, but they are still LeBrons and are really comfortable and looking fire. Dont understand me wrong, they are great but they are not like kobe 6 though. Thank you for the review!

I also have the Lebron 10 (Raspberry). I just bought the Lebron 20 and I replaced the insoles with Move Game Day Pro insoles. I had to go up a full size; I have slightly wide feet. Will try them out soon.

LeBron, going to a low top, isn’t surprising to me. I’ve noticed the last few years he would wear the ambassador line over his main line of shoes.

These remind me of the LeBron 8 Low minus the full length Air Max unit.

Nike needs to just pump these out every year. Best hoop shoe in a long time.

I don’t have easy access to indoor courts, so I m playing all these modern non-durable shoes outdoor. Also simply because I’m a sneakerhead, so every month I will be lured to buy another pair of something, so it’s better than letting them sit at home to disintegrate… fully intended to wear or play in all these expensive signature shoes.

I agree $200 is steep for a basketball shoe but then again you see people paying over $200 on some Jordan retro that still use tech from the 80s and 90s. At least with the Lebron 20s you’re getting the technology that most bball shoes have today.

For me, lebron 15 and 17 are still the best after the 1 - 10 run... These 20s are alright.

The only problem for me right now is that there is heel slippage for me and there is a bit of dead space in the toe back and I went true to size. I do have the EP version as well.

Though its not something that should make a shoe an instant buy, that sphere tech is something I would like to see nike include on more releases. It was very akin to the ankle foam in one of my favorite training shoes of the era, The Air Trainer SC 2010. I of course had the LaDanian Tomlinson color way. It made the ankle padding feel very airy, yet not intrusive/restrictive. it was just there to facilitate you in really cranking down on the upper eyelets without needing to loosen up for relief half way through whatever you were doing.

it may not have max air etc but those lebron 17s, the last lebron i had, i didn’t trust the traction and i played tentatively. same exact feeling Chris had when he reviewed it 3 years ago. if this has some of the tech from the zoom generation then yeah its bound to be good. zoom generation were probably my favorite lebron shoe. now the 20 and the 21 might take the cake

Just got some on sale, but they feel incredibly tight, really narrow. A size up would be too long. Not sure weather to just send back or try to break them in.

I really want these shoes, but when are they gonna release in Europe? We had the Time Machine colorway, but it was sold out in 1 day and there haven’t been any restocks or other sizes since. I really hope Nike will release more of these in Europe soon, because in the states they already have 3 colorways… it frustrates me.

Everything sounds good on paper. But one thing that makes these unplayable is the lack of heel support and how soft it is around the heel. You will 100% roll ur ankle playing in these.

They look like a kobe 9. But Puma lowtop models look like kobe shoes too especially clyde all pro. PG1 look like a kobe shoe. KD6 too.

Liking these but toe box looks a little too tapered - which looks like it’ll force the big toe towards the second toe. A lot of Nikes do this tho. Enjoying the Luka 1 with the wide toe box.

I wanted to wait to get some but didn't wanna chance only being able to get some crazy color ones, as of now only other ones I like besides the debuts is the time machines but I don't wear much loud colors so I'll wait and hope they get some in all BLK or BLK and white

Pls answer me! I May have ordered Bron 20s a Little too small I have medium to wide feet with tailor bunions. And ive been preferring a more snug fit lately. My kobes are size 8.5s, but most of those are actually quite big for me. My AD at that size is way too big and i double sock. My 11 Em is an 8.5 and is a tad bit big but i think is one of my better fitting pairs. My 10 elite low tho at 8.5 is a Little snug but i can still hoop with 3 socks on. My latest cop before the Bron 20s is my J 13 back in 2020. At size 8 its actually quite spacious and big for me. So this leads me to my bron 20s which are otw. I ordered a size 8 since my last pair at 8 was pretty big. Most reviews said the shoes fit true to size but is a Little snug. Should i have gone a size up? I dont mind a snug fit. But it would be a waste of a good pair if its too tight. do they stretch after the break in period? Length wise?
